Honestly I would do worst reviewed hair salons bc like my hair is healthy but it has so much breakage like I mean so much, my hair is practically dead already

the thing is, these salons mostly do hair and just claim they also do make up

My friend worked in this men's hair salons and the salon had a thing where they offered massages too, head and neck massage could be asked for with haircut. The girl went through so much training, practiced on me, her husband but damn she is just so bloody untalented for massage or anything to do with it. Amazing with hair, amazing with beards, and I often think of these guys that came home from the salon like jesus I had the worst massage ever, I don't know why they even offer massage when they have no idea what they doing if they fell in her hands 🤣

Now I'm no where near a Professional MUA but I have been doing my makeup and my friends makeup for over a decade & I can tell you that I know my Color theory far better then these clowns who claim to be "Professionals", battling over colors & their clients face, using unsanitary products & tools on a paying client's face all while "cleaning" said tools on either a paper towel which was tucked into the clients shirt (massive ick) or a white towel draped across the client's chest having their collarbone/shoulder being pressed against to "clean" their brushes. Which is the Ultimate Ick! All of that is just a Big NO!

I'm thinking it's a local thing. Which country is she actually in? They mostly have darker toned more olive toned skin. They probably don't get a TON of pink/neutral undertones skin in their salons.

Honestly, I do love throwing bright colors on my eyes. I think the colors are quite fitting, blue and orange are complimentary colors, and who does love pink? It’s giving beach sunset vibes and I’m not mad. Questionable application, but I kinda love the color combo.

@jaydee cee I agree!! If it were more muted and blended like a beach sunrise, I'd be more willing to accept it! However, the under eye makeup was a disaster and cannot be salvaged, it just did not go at all

Her English speaking vocabulary and grammar aren’t solid. There’s no way English could be her first language …but her Spanish clearly isn’t either.

I agree. I live in Spain and most "neighborhood salons" are supernoisy places where everybody knows each other and talk super loud about all the gossip possible. Not relaxing at all but at least is cheap and you get your hair done 😢

I live in Spain too, and I think its not about the country, but yes the price you pay, if you go to a fancy and luxury place, where you normally pay the amount of a bride make xd, you'll have for sure a relaxed and peacefull time

She also used the wrong color to “correct” it. She used the green which is to combat redness, not blue/purple.

As a pro mua, I am truly appalled. Those brushes need to be cleaned and sanitized between every single client. You should have a minimum of 2 sets so you can leave drying time and always have some clean. It is acceptable in my state to sanitize and re use blending sponges but I usually open a new one and give it to the client or just toss it after if they don't want it (I use the real techniques beauty blenders, they aren't disposable but I use them like they are). There is a cost of doing business. Also, the makeup should be sanitized between every client. This is so disgusting.

@@penelopep.maggie5976 remove a bit of whatever make up to be used and place on a clean surface, or even the back of their hand, or yes, use one-use disposable applicators before each dip.

It's funny how they don't see any difference between eyebags and just dark circles under eyes.

I mean when are unprofessional in one area, it tends to go other places.
