Awesome video! Makes me want to try each of these out for myself. Could you be a bit more clear which disc you're talking about in spots where you've cut to B roll? That'd help the clarity of the video. Reminds me of podcasts that are also filmed where the guest or creator sometimes forgets that lots of their audience isn't getting the visuals. I just appreciate that DD stamps the disc name on the underside so when you are pouring over used disc bins and find a cool custom stamp or a wiped disc, you dont have to agonize over what mold it is.

I also have a lucid escape that is very stable. I have a prime (my very first driver ever) and lucid air that fly way straighter. I am definitely picking one of these up when they release to try it out!

Yeah it is really nice! and the stable ones are nice as well! But I think when you get a straighter one like the Supreme one is when you see the Escape really shine... They just go SO far!

The escape is the first disc I fell in love with when I started playing. With 6 months under my belt it was the first disc I got to 325. It was my main distance driver for years and ten years later I still rock the escape

I can definitely include it in something if people want to see it! I will definitely do a Shorts video and Reel on Instagram for it! I have had one throw with it though and it seemed pretty stable! Like it looked like it wanted to turn… so it might turn when thrown around 400, but it was pretty stable for me and didn’t really turn much if at all!

I just bought one, and i decided to test it out on a windy day. Long story short a sudden gust of wind picked it up and threw it into a pond. Never got to beat it in. i plan on getting another one soon. I wonder how similar it would fly compared to my beat in lucid escape which is currently my favorite straight disc in my bag.

I love my Supreme Escape! I would highly recommend for someone who wants a straight to slightly understable fairway driver and has moderate arm speed. I like how it felt slightly beat in out of the box.

I have 3 escapes in my bag. Lucid for straighter, biofuzion flip machine to throw smooth full flexes and easy line carving in the woods, and a hybrid that’s a bit light, flippy but with more slow speed fade than the bio. Looks like I’m about to test out one of these, lol

Yeah it's solid! And I am not sure what the model of the gloves is... But they are older running gloves from Nike! I like them because they are warm enough for me but they aren't very bulky!

I have a Lucid Escape, and, I'm not able to throw a big driver yet, but, can huck this disc very well! I feel like it throws more like a 7-speed disc out of my hand, and, flies like an 11-12 speed disc.

Yeah very true! It’s crazy how far this thing can go when you hit it right! Even for people who have the arm speed for distance drivers… this thing can out fly your distance drivers if you hit it right!

The Supreme Escape is a fantastic disc! I know the Grace is the most hyped disc in all of disc golf right now; however, the Supreme Escape is a nice slightly slower compliment to the Grace.

Right when it came out there was a ton of talk about it! People saying it’s a further Wraith. They are VERY comparable… it’s probably not talked about as much anymore because they are so hard to come by!

@@MegaLaban12345 Trust me. The Grace is a distance driver you'll try once and be hooked. It is a combination of the flight path and plastic that makes the disc very sought after. Apollo actually did a video about the Grace. Also I work at a disc golf store and it's always consistently being asked, "Any Grace's in stock?"

I have an Escape from 2014 that is 9 6 .5 2. Was my first disc. The Supreme looks like a nice disc but I cant see it kicking out my Fission Insanity. Now the Supreme Judge is something I would like to try.

I have also found that my supreme escape is less stable than most of my fuzion or lucid escapes. Not really excited about that. I was hoping for a less touchy escape. Hopefully the supreme trespass comes out with more stability.

Yeah, I think the numbers on the Trespass give it less fade than the original? But the original didn't really have as much fade as the numbers had it anyways... So who knows!

I purchased one of the Supreme Escape Protos. Mine is not overstable at all! Especially compared to my fuzion escape. But I totally agree about the feel of the disc, the look, and the printing on the bottom.

So, my favorite discs are CD2s. I’m looking for a replacement that’s not $40-$50. I have tried the dynasty but was wondering how these compare. Thoughts?

I haven’t thrown either of those yet… but I think the Dynasty is the CD2 mold from Innova, but I could be mistaken? I know Infinite does have the CD2 mold now, which I think is the Dynasty… the same way the Alpaca is the P2 mold

The Burst Escape is my go to roller disc. I had it in starter pack as a beginner. It seasoned down great from turnover to roller. Would be sad if I lost it.

Use a Prime Burst Escape for rollers aswell, its great! Then I have a Fuzion Escape for straight shots and a Kastaplast Lots as a more stable option. Might change that one for a Supreme Escape tho 🤔

To a new disc golfer, we have no idea when discs came out. Is there that much difference between new molds and classics? Is it like the difference between a 1960'car and a modern car?

Yeah I think just the fact that it's older, means it's just not being talked about as much today than the other discs that came out within the last couple of years. So even though newer players don't know when these discs came out... Many probably haven't heard much about it at all, and that's because it's older and not at the forefront of peoples minds! And the difference between the classics and the new stuff is just personal preference. I think a lot of older players will say the classics are "better" but I think that's more because that is all they have thrown, so going to something else just seems off! Even if it's just as good or better.

I really want to try one, but I think they bump up against the Saint just a little too much in terms of slot to justify getting one for my bag. I have a Lucid Glitter Escape that's more OS like your Lucid one, for what that's worth.

Yeah, it might be a little different than your Saint... But I don't think they would be different enough to bag both! It would be one or the other for sure... the Saint is a great disc as well! It's been a while since I have thrown a Saint!

I find it a bit odd. It flies too far for a fairway disc but not as far as a distance driver. I keep putting it in and taking it out of my bag. Depending on your course, it might be the perfect disc to give you that little bit of extra distance without reaching for a faster disc.

Yeah I think this would be great for shots that you need a distance driver like distance, but you need a bit more control and a straighter finish. Like needing distance on a fairway that's a little tight, because Distance drivers will give you a lot more finish at the end with more ground play than this should!

@@ApolloDiscGolf I have the Z, TI & ESP versions of the Undertaker, and it's far and away the beefiest. Both discs are supposed to be speed 9 I believe - but the Undertaker has an edge which is more blunted. I've order a couple of Escapes - maybe it's time for a little switch-up :P

I would say between these two I compared, the domes are pretty similar, they are both pretty flat. But the wing on the Supreme one definitely drops a touch lower than the Lucid Escape

@@ApolloDiscGolf even in the supreme plastic it’s still more under stable than the Cd1? That’s interesting my Supreme Grace is definitely very stable. I wasn’t sure if it was that just that mold or all the mold supreme plastic affects. I actually got that gold orbit, sapphire from your store and that plastic is the mode a lot more stability and I love it but still want to get lower in speed for more control. Thanks!

I would say it's closest to an Era or Undertaker, I would say it's in between the two in terms of speed and it might be a touch less stable than both of them depending on the escape... The lucid Escape I have is probably a touch more stable than the Era, but the Supreme Escape is a touch less overstable. But I do think the Escape has more glide than both of those!

Kastaplast Lots has the same numbers. This is actually my favorite disc. I have a Supreme Escape but I have barely thrown the it enough to make a judgement yet (cold and wet, nasty weather)

I wish they would rework their royal/supreme/orbit plastic just a tiny bit because as it is right now, when it gets even slightly wet it turns as slick as oil. I really like the molds that trilogy put out in this plastic but since I live in Sweden rain is the rule rather than the exception during alot of the year. Please fix :D

I can definitely see that. Even when it has been worn down a bit? I feel like most discs like that after they get worn, they lose the glossiness and gain a bit of grip?

@@ApolloDiscGolf its worse brand new for sure, but even my seasoned first run Rive is very slick when wet. You can power through with dirtbags and so on to an extent but similar plastics like star/gold/K1 or even opto just grips better when wet IMO. The only plastic that is worse afaik is prodigys 500.

I would think the Valkyrie has a little more turn to it? But It's been a while since I have thrown a Valkyrie! But yeah, I think the Escape is a little more stable and has a lot more glide

Dx thunderbirds are very similar to the prime escape. Thunderbird will late turn with a touch more stability then the escape turns over late but stays flat. In no wind. Any headwind will be obvious. 340ft. Pink dx thundys 170-175 gram. Very underated.

I've never tried a dx thunderbird! I didn't know they were that much more understable than the premium plastic ones! Because the premium plastic ones are nowhere near the stability of the Escape!

I don't think this is as understable than the Heat! This is closer to an Undertaker imo! Might be slightly less stable depending on the Undertaker, and a touch faster with more glide!

Whomever compares a grace ro a wraith must not get it to speed. Grace is super flat with a like 1.5 turn. Wraith is a legit 3, even the G star which flips way more
