DNF Duel is such a good fighting game!!! I actually love this game so much it's really sad how much people over look the game in favor of something like Strive (no hate to guilty gear players, I am one). During the Spring Summer Sale on Steam I decided to buy pretty much everyone I know a copy of the game so more people would try out DNF Duel and we had a blast playing it. These are just a few clips from our time on the game but I have more so expect another DNF video in the future. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I do and have a great day.

I got the game when it was free on epic, then got the season pass. I have only done combo trials for every character and a couple of story runs.

Tbh the game has flaws however if they gave this game the granblue rising treatment I think it would blow up a decent bit as long as they did it right. They could make this game one of the funnest fighting games that people can just pick up and play.

i don’t know if its necessarily underrated, maybe under-appreciated? I was hyped for this game on launch and i still play it from time to time with friends but “the most underrated” implies that it is deserving of some status much greater.. good for a youtube title, but i feel as though the game is fairly rated due to how stagnant it became after launch.

The game gained a stigma and became a punching bag. No one bothers playing it cuz everyone just says it's bad despite the fact its still supported, getting updates, and has a solid set of system mechanics and playerbase that loves it. It is absolutely underrated and overlooked. The MOST? idk that's just a yt title but I stand by it being underrated wholeheartedly

longevity of updates does not equate to frequency or quality. If it wasn’t released in the wake of strive and was given proper attention earlier on im sure the game would be much more appreciated. AFAIK on release the netcode was horrible, no rollback, nobody was playing ranked, the game was fun but it didnt matter if you had nobody to play against. I can agree this is a great game to pick up on sale and theres a lot to have fun with, but i dont even know if you could classify it as a punching bag, literally noone i knew was talking about and ppl i saw from the internet were just complaining about lack of change in the game’s environment

@willhokkey1698 literally everytime I'm on this game or mention it I get made fun of it cuz "who would ever play dnf duel". I never had net code issues on launch. The updates were stagnant off rip which was bad but they've been p solid rn. Look at sf6 , that game didn't get balanced for like a year but is fine, the issue was not the updates

@jesterclownmime lmao sure bud. I got about ten ppl on the game in a week despite them all insisting the game "sucked" without playing it and they all had fun. This game is good and extremely fun, especially in its current state but there is a stigma against it so ppl don't even try it. If you can't see the value in a game then I pity you

@jesterclownmime I mean, people do play it? If you're saying it would be popular if it was good . . . No? Like I said people tend to not give it a chance even if they would end up liking it. There are many fighting games that are phenomenal but have a lower player count. You can't point to popularity as a judgement for quality that is literally a logical fallecy

It's not underrated. The game is decent now, the problem is that on release the game was super shitty and the devs took over a year to make any meaningful changes. By the time the game became any good, the FGC already lost interest.

Uh... no The game has always been extremely fun. The problem was the fact this game got little to no advertising when it really needed it due to it's tie to a niche game franchise as far as anywhere outside south korea is concerned... the playerbase was never big, and it had nothing to do with how the game played.

The reality is a sinister third option between you two. There was a lot of hype for the game and a lot of big hitters tried out the game (even kizzie was on it) but with issues I'm balancing ppl slowly fell off. The game absolutely is underrated rn because they fixed a lot of issues but haven't advertised it as much. The fgc didn't lose interest, they actively hate on the game and avoid it even if they never tried it. It's the punching bag of the fgc. I bought this game day one, I've been watching this shit fight for its life, I just want people to give it a chance

@@lynxrufus The game was hype during beta, that much is true and yes big names did play it, but after release, the FGC including the big names realized how incomplete and imbalanced the game was. The lack of advertising played a big part, but the fact that there was no road map, dlc and balance took about a year, and the first patch was more so an emergency patch because they messed up so badly with 1 character really lead to the downfall. The FGC did lose interest and yes the game became the joke of the FGC soon after, and there is Noone to blame but the devs for that. I also got the game day 1, I was there for the ride. I even played the beta.
