Nickel defenders (also known as slot cornerbacks) are some of the most undervalued players in football. Today, I'll talk about three of my favorite nickel defenders to watch:
Taron Johnson (Buffalo Bills) - 2:16

Thank you for including tauron Johnson in this. That makes so many plays and is the entire reason the bills can stay in 4-2-5 as often as they do. Nickel players in this era of football are really do it all type of guys who have so many responsibilities it's nuts. I wish the bills could have drafted Kyle Hamilton when he came out of college lol. He's everything I thought he was going to be.

Amazing video as always bro. I just rewatched Superbowl 37 this morning (Raiders vs Bucs) in memory of Monte. The raiders ran 11 all game with Rice, Brown, and Porter as the 3 wrs. Ronde Barber played nickel and was such a STUD the whole game. From blitzes, run stopping, to coverage. Charles Woodson was banged up but could play just about anywhere as well. Same with a younger Rod Woodson on that squad. Fitting that a vid like this would come up to highlight some of the young guns in the league now. Keep doing your thing, brother
