In this video, I checked out a brand new bike park in Germany called Greenhill Bike Park. One of the most unique places I have ever ridden my mountain bike!
So many jumps, berms, drops AND a ski drag lift so you can get endless runs in the day!

@philipgrund967
@philipgrund967 Жыл бұрын
@@boogiedaddy3434 There's plenty in the US. In Utah, Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado ski resort areas(though those rarely get as wet as this place in Germany), and the Ozarks in Arkansas and Misouri. They have you sign a "hold harmless" liability waiver when you purchase a lift ticket just like for skiing. Ski resorts in the US let you ride up a lift and ship yourself off of a 500 foot ledge with 75 degree slope, and aren't liable if you shatter a couple hundred bones on the way down.

@@boogiedaddy3434 The US has way more extreme and risky things available and accessible to the average citizen what are you on about. There's two ski resorts within two hours of me that do chairlift bike lifts and I'm in NC. Europe is typically about ten years "ahead" of the USA for a lot of things... But this is clearly a new and huge investment ground up mountain biking and mixed use development and I've never seen a drag lift like that before.

I spent my youth on a bicycle and on skis, I am not scared of a lot and I have done stuff skiing, a lot on my knees and bottom too, but this is really something else. That bicycle is literally in freefall and corrected here and there without ever hindering the momentum more than necessary, besides brave, it's masterful.

Whatever you do make sure to ride smooth and within your limits. Avoid unnecessary risk, early serious injury will demoralize. Don't even try any jumps until experienced people teach you in person. Rock on I was just ripping the black diamonds at my local mtb spot and I hadn't ridden in years!

@@manda_musings8459 I'm 300 lbs and I do it. Pedaling uphill sucks but ripping downhill is awesome. I don't even have much experience but it's all very approachable if you don't risk jumps. I don't do any jumping and it's still one of the most rewarding experiences I've found in life.

What a well put together place. Lots of varying terrain, turn types, jumps, drops. I can't believe how fast you were taking that 2nd run with those blind jumps.
