It is a good game, but I feel like Superliminal was the one that did it (Sorry if I didn't get the pun 😅) Edit: nevermind, I see what you mean! The moment he grabbed the first picture, I realized you were probably talking about that specific part of liminal games (using pictures to create new spaces)

From the game page "The idea of the game mechanics is taken from the game Viewfinder, if you have not played it, then I recommend checking it out. This project was originally created as an experiment, I wanted to repeat this unusual mechanic and naturally wanted to share it.". So it's natural, that developer decided to keep their experiment free for players

Such an amazing concept, combined with liminal space! Hope to see more games of this kind, in a way it's like a sandbox, where player creates environment of their own, by combining visuals, that they got. Could lead to some insane results, especially if will be combined with "Superliminal" mechanics, where one can create absolutely massive objects!

If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend Antichamber. It's longer, more varied in its puzzles, and it switches between logic and creative solutions. Absolute masterpiece.

9:39 Speaking of pears being underrated (which they really are, pears are amazing), I feel the exact same way with green apples. They're my favorite fruit by far, but I really don't see people talking about them. I love regular apples too, and that's one of the reasons I liked pears when I tried them, because I find them very similar!

Dude this game looks like it will have an absolutely insane speedrun. Also that spider rule is funny, cause all of the spiders that can kill a person are smaller than the palm of your hand. The big spiders are shy little babies that will always choose to run from you over hurting you.

The moon is already tidally locked to the Earth, which is why we always see the same side of the moon. But the moon is pulling in the Earth too and slowing its rotation. So at some point in the future an Earth day will be the same length as a lunar month, which is what you described at the end. And technically the Sun and Earth are doing the same thing. Mercury has one side that continuously faces the Sun and the Earth would end up like that but I think it would take longer than the lifespan of the the Sun. Idk I'm a drunk astrophysics layman nerd

I have a simple rule for spiders too! It goes: As long as I see where the spider is and it is not moving I am fine with it. Had many great spider roommates who were cool with that rule. If they disrespect that, things get difficult.

The really cool thing about these kinda of games is that it’s very hard for a person to wrap their head around, but it’s fairly simple for a computer. When the world is made of math, you have a lot of fun ways to manipulate it. That is, of course, not discounting the talent of these developers. Even if the core mechanic isn’t too hard to implement, designing around it very much is.

Oh, this is interesting, I was exprecting, that it's a nightmare to code such type of concept into the game. Do hope more games will use this mechanic in the future, it's super fun, albeit super trippy :D

@@GeltyDrake It's not "inspired", developer literally wanted to experiment with recreating these mechanics from another game. That's why the game is free. They gave credit to the original game, so what's wrong with that?
