I've been gigging with this pedal for a couple months. It has quickly become my favorite pedal on my board. The board which basically has been built partially upon Bass The World reviews. Atlas, C4, DG Harmonic Booster, NUX MLD NBP-5. The flexibility with the Atlas allows me to create duplicates of my favorite presets so I can gain stage properly when bringing multiple basses with differing output levels to a gig. The Atlas behaves like quality, paid plugins in a pedal format. The Atlas sound quality is incredible. It kicked my MXR M87 off of my board.

Thats good2know, you have a impressive pedal board ... on your pedal set up chain, where do you put the Atlas compressor, first, second, last middle? and why? This would help me a lot ! Thank you Rob

I've tried a few different compressor pedals but keep coming back to my little old Boss LMB3 Bass Limiter - simple to use and doesn't squash the shite out of the signal

1:06 - sounds like you put on fresh strings by the press of a Button and I think this is amazing! Does anybody know if there is a Pedal that does exactly that but maybe more affordable? That is something im looking for but I don’t need all of the other Features

Maybe more than any other effect, a compressor demo needs to have a back-to-back comparison with the unprocessed tone. That sounded great, but maybe it sounded great without the pedal too, who knows.

Compressors are like a root note bass line. You don't necessarily notice them when they're there but you absolutely notice when they're not.

Just the standard sounds that come pre-loaded on the pedal. I might have tweaked them slightly. But there’s no records of the settings

Watch the video, you will see them activate the comp at the start of each sample played by Rene , pause the video and write the five settings down, 4 knobs plus the middle switch... threshold at 1:00, ratio at 12:00, etc.. I was able to get each setting for all the demo's, and they all sound great, hope that helps

Curious, the Joe Dart passage, is Rene covering an actual song by Vulfpeck or Joe Dart side project, or is he just riffing on his own, what is the tune please? I'd like to find that tune and dial it in. Rene is the consummate pro, great playing! The Sandberg BTW four is supernatural

Do you film all your videos with the camera mounted high up so it’s looking down on you, or are you not scaling your greenscreen backgrounds properly? You seem to be changing size constantly.

Oh my!!!!! With this I can use my Ultrawave for its Gain, rather than it’s amazing compressor. Ok source audio, brilliant stuff, now stop finding ways to get all of my money. Cheers

I wish on some of these and other bass videos they would just play through the amp instead of the di through a laptop or PA to see how it really sounds

I'm with you, the DI patch does not represent what it sounds like live. I love this pedal but wen using it live in combination with other pedals it does have a lot of hum, buzz. Our guitarist tells me that buzz is the analog anomaly, he uses a digital pedal board with no annoying clutter. Sadly we cannot have it all, as the TV commercial so emphasizes... I will not go out and purchase a digital pedal board to eliminate the noise, cant afford it

The central jewel LED can change colors to monitor the gain reduction. The feature is available in the settings menu through the Neuro editor/app.

By default the center LED monitors the amount of compression for around around 10 seconds after an adjustment has been made to either the Threshold or Ration controls. You can also go into the Neuro Editor and set the compression monitoring function so that it is always on. There is also a great visual monitor in the Neuro Editor's interface.
