Indeed, Chris has to be the single largest salesman for the Revstar that Yamaha will ever see. Such a humble and honest person too. I ordered my P90 standard version here in Canada mid April. First they told me July for delivery but now it's into September. The wait is hard. Yes, I bought a Revstar because Chris plays one too. but hey, I have a Strat or two because of Stevie...

@@therealtech833 Indeed I did! It actually came earlier than I had anticipated, and I really, really like it. So many tones. The P90s sound great and the overall build quality was most impressive. I'm no Chris Buck, but it's a great guitar.

FYI - Frets feel nice because they're stainless steel on the Stndard and Pro series

A nice review. So many are just playing in a style that I may or may not like so have little point as a good guitarist will sound good on a bad guitar.. The talking reviews tend to be biased sales pitches that focus on the best features.

I tried one of the mid range p90 Revstars (denim blue & brushed steel hardware) a few years ago in a music store. I knew it would have been really nice once I'd set it up properly, but I was just put off by the know it all salesman who was in dire need of a wash, so I left it there. I will get a p90 guitar some day.

I really like your demo, thanks. Do the jumbo frets feel big to you, taller than medium jumbo frets? I really like tall frets, so hoping these feel big.

Thank you so much man! In this video, I only used a couple of effects from the HX Stomp, the Dyana Drive and 63 Spring I believe. When I use the amp modelling, however, I tend to use either the Princeton or Deluxe Reverb models or the Litigator. Cheers!

You’ll be surprised how good the gen 2 are over the gen 1. I have a gen 1 720B p90 and have since bought two of the gen 2 standards. I didn’t think they could top it but they have. Noticeable improvement.

The biggest retailer in Europe, Thomann, says they will be available in 12 weeks which is definitely a bummer!

There are some serious issues with the guitar you received, the factory puts tens on the guitar not nines. Also the weight spec is listed for the guitar, and we usually be within a few percent of the spec. Sounds like you got a knock off.

Great guitars, just a shame the colours are quite dull or too much and the sunburst looks half finished.
