I don't even play this game but I love her combo. On a side node, I like how she fit perfectly in the archetype "Bully". Those type of characters with armor and that can slip through firewall and deal crazy damage close range. On top of that armed with command throw. She remind me of Broly

as a guile main, this ass whooping was a lesson for me against your character ya’ll are a problem to me that I want to go up against lmao Marissa & Zangiefs are my only problems zangief only because his damage grabs that catch me.. but are easy to jump out of also, best of luck with Marissa!

Learnt so much just from this vid of Bigbird. DR to EX command grab for a start. Looks like EX has less startup. I was using regular and getting countered before I could pull off the grab. Amazing corner combo adding juggle properties with DR to extend. Blocking Guiles Sonic Hurricane gives you faster recovery than parrying it so you can always punish. A freaking 50% combo from a trade after a crumple. DR in and seize the kill!

I don't think she counters Guile per se. She only counters Guile if you're at a really high level rank where you can use perfect parry at will, has mad knowledge and reaction for using her situational anti airs, can switch between delay techs and throw techs to mess up opponent timing, etc. If you can't do these or not good enough with any of these, she loses to Guile.

Basically if the char is in block stun while getting hit from drive impact it prevents it from wall splatting. Chars like jp, kimberly, guile, ect. would be pretty stupid in the corner with that because they'd just keep you pinned down with whatever they have while drive impacting you into the wall for easy damage. So to prevent it, while in blockstun it just counts as a pushback like it would be in neutral.

I may be the only one who thinks so, but the armor has to be removed from Marisa, it completely contradicts the gameplay of SF6, and Marisa players fight without even worrying about the Drive gauge.

She has the highest damage combos litterly she could litterly take 60 to 70% of your health without critical arts and is litterly 25% more damage then everyone raw full critical arts which is disgusting but she is slow so makes sense

as a guile main seeing ISDD get smoked is embarrassing & makes me feel bad.. He inspired me to play Guile 100% I know well he could’ve done better if he stopped being predictable sonic booms suck against rushing players, but so many people as guile use them (to play safe) not enough sonic blades + not enough decent combos.. you can crouch MP > MP > (Drive rush) > crouch HK > forward crouch HK > summersault for a fat damage.. (5 hit combo) & at the wall you can do an extra OD flash kick for 7 hits.. then MP > cMP > cMP > OD sonic blade/ LP sonic blade > OD Sonic throw (idk it’s name) TO MAKE SPACE away from enemies.. but idk + LP S.Blade / OD S.Blade > OD S.B forward does a wall splat without the need of Drive impact.. i’m just whining I guess. edit:: at the wall, you can subsititue the OD flash kick for a lvl 1 Super too after the first summersault/ Flashkick. it’s fun af to rush with Guile, because NOBODY EXPECTS IT

She's really fun, but I can't see anything worth nerfing. She's got really distinct weaknesses. I do t think anything is worth nerfing until we see half of top eights at majors with the same character. Maybe tweak the character a little then haha.

@@SNIIP3R786shes basically a knowledge check character that was given the damage to be viable, even when figured out. sure its gonna get harder for marisa players to get in as the game progresses, but once she does the snowball starts rolling. a bit like lucky chloe from tekken. i love her.

Bird is good but Marisa needs a nerv. The damage and armor with almost all her moves with good mobility is a bit much. She can take half your life with no ex moves or critical arts. That’s silly

Try playing as her and deal with her lack of universal aa button/special, no invincible lvl1, no invincible reversal. Marisa has very weak D and if you notice big bird doesn't always use the same tools for dealing with aa.
