Gotta say, I'm really appreciative of this video and the Grundy one. Not too many talk about how great Grundy was and it was kinda sad for me to not see many people use Grodd. His combo potency makes him such a pleasantry to watch. Hitbox Tyrant still plays Injustice 2 sometimes and he plays him.

I always figured Grodd was more of a rushdown grappler, I didn’t realize he had so much combo potential. He was always my secondary behind my mains, Manta and Batman. I’d like to try this out, next time I get a chance.

I was actually gonna revisit injustice 2 not too long ago and planned on playing grodd, but it took forever to find games on PC. maybe I’ll give it another shot after seeing this because this is hype

Compared to some of the other stuff you showed us, this seems like a lot if inputs for half a bar. I mean don't get me wrong, this is impressive as hell one way of the other.

Grodd also had one of the most broken moves against the cpu too. There's some variation move in which you can spam the A or X button, and the ai would usually have no idea what to do.

I had the one ability for grodd where you can just spam A like 12 times in a true combo

It's alway a treat to see Grood in action with a good player behind him. He's very underreated in underused. I like that theres a skill gap with him too. You've gotta lab him if you want W's with him. Not a "pick up in go" character at all. I think i might have found my next pet project. Thx Trununderdawgkun!! 😜

I only know 3-4 grodd players that make grodd looks op. His combos truly are hardest to master.

If grodd has some of the abilities u can unlock later as default, he might be competitive, but from beginning to end he's been bottom tier.

I always thought the characters I'm best with were trash, Bane & Subzero in particular, But I have a tendency to use Grodd for fun, Assuming everyone thought he was trash too, But even I didn't know he could play this well.

This was a great surprise, he doesn't deal the most damage but that was a lot of creativity in the combos

Grodd is actually a demon in this game. But I swear that he was able to loop his jump kick restand at a max range straight kick(usually after D2) at least until the gravity for the jump kick was too low

Seeing those combos, it makes me wonder how his resets are. Naturally if he could trap you in a 100 to 0 vortex he'd probably be a lot higher on the tier list, but since I don't actually *have* injustice 2 I don't know if there are any system mechanics in play to keep resets from being a thing... but looking at his kit there seem to be so many opportunities to set that up.
