There's a game called one million zombies with that premise( trucks and zombies) and there's also a game called Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 which has tanks zombies etc that can fight each other. a few games you might like if you like Kingmakers ( I also have about 100s videos for UEBS2 on my channel)

This was my first thought as well. I assume it's some kind of survivorship bias maybe? Once a game is released at least some percentage of the playerbase that had wishlisted it will buy it, ergo removing it from their wishlist. If the game is successful then some 40 - 75% of players that had wishlisted the game may have bought it. If the game was unsuccessful this was likely (though not always) due to some kind of problem with the game, this in turn may result in non-purchasing players removing it from their wishlist as they no longer want the game. I also assume the number of unreleased (but already announced) games is a much smaller list than the number of games that have been released. This allows for more wishlisting to be centralized in one place, compared to the much larger body of already released games which presumably will have the wishlisting more spread out. All this said though, I am not a statistician and it is very likely the case that I am mistaken in at least one of my assumptions (if not multiple). My wishlist (outside of KCDII) is also entirely comprised of already released games I can't (or don't want to) afford to buy.

So if you are interested in stats years ago Karlsom announced it had like 100k wishlist that means anything above that is above that amount but since that was years ago we can assume karlsom probably has more than 100k, another thing if the devs of tiny glade announced it has 1 million wishlist like recently so anything above that is above that amount

Definitely some promising titles! Already looking forward to Slay The Spire 2 & Civ 7. Must buys for sure. Dune has potential, if only because it seems to support creating a dedicated gathering/scavenging/intel focused character. Really appreciate when games let you trade combat power for more utility/intangibles rather than splitting in separate systems where you don't get to specialize.

Mouse took a lot of inspiration from Cuphead. I'm glad they they did, I want more games in this art style. Karlson looks like Ghost Runner + Superhot + Portal, all of them are good games so I have hope in this hybrid.

This has to be the most wish listed games that aren't out yet right? I refuse to believe not a single not already released game wouldn't be on the list of 25 most wish listed games list. You'd expect something like Baldur's Gate 3 a lot of people put full price games then wish list so they are alerted at a price drop. Or even something even older. Think about all of the inactive accounts that probably have games wish listed but will never log in again.
