I was wondering the same thing. He hasn't been around for a while though I saw them 2 years back and Lyle was already with them.

He bowed out of the band to be with his family. Can't remember what year (2014?). But, I never truly appreciated the affect of the lead singer before that. New guy's fine, but between that and Garrett not playing the Lakland anymore it hasn't been the same groove for me for a few years. Still a groove, but now people have to point out when they show Garrett. Used to be that Garrett was on screen a lot more and his bass was mixed louder too. Just one drunken low end's opinion. :-)

That would be the ineffable Jans Ingber, who is back in Eugene, OR with family and sometimes shows up for special gigs in Portland and Eugene. He left end of 2015
