Hello everyone...
I am Lily from Indonesia. Thank you for coming to my channel. On October 2019 I just returned to my homeland from United Arab Emirates. For more than 20 years I worked abroad In Abu Dhabi city. I love animals, there I feed stray cats on the streets every day. 10 to 20 cats I feed every day in around my apartment. And that’s all I use my personal money. And also I rescued two cats Clara and Toby from the streets. Until finally Clara gave birth to 5 cutes kittens. Now in my homeland I’m continue my mission to help abandoned animals who need help. In the past I did not need anyone’s help, because I had money because I had a job. But now I need your help guys..

In each of my videos, There are many people ask about the cats have short tails. Here I want to explain a little about cats that have short tails(bobtails). In my country Indonesia, short-tailed cat it's common.We will see many short-tailed cats here, which may be due to genetic factors. So it's not because it's broken or someone abusing it.
They have short tails since they birth.

As a single mummy cat, she needs all the help she can get. It's not easy raising 5 kittens by herself, especially with the cost of living like medical and education being so high nowadays

@Your Mother As the video says this cat was likely not totally wild so don't feel to bad about the mom not trusting you. Also you do get to play with the kittens so that's a win to me. Some feral cats you cant even get close to cause they will use there claws full force on you every time. Lot of people end up having to take care of totally feral cats cause they want to help the kittens and the best thing to do is let the mom take care of them till there old enough then spade the mom and release her. Then just find a home for the kittens.

It really must take a lot of courage for a cat to approach a big, strange human not knowing if they are going to be hurt or treated well. It could really go either way in their mind, so it shows a LOT of trust when they make that first contact.

@@judykrieger8433 tell me about it. A couple of weeks ago my friend brought me four 1-month old kittens. Their mother had disappeared and we thought she had been hit by a car or something. I already have three other siblings of theirs from two other litters. They were all born within one year and I didn't keep all of the kittens born. I think at most I will keep two of the four and maybe give my neighbor the other two if she wants to replace her little dog that died last year. But I won't let them leave my house unspayed. I just can't trust people to actually spay the cats on their own. Plus people love having kittens around the house but don't think about how they too will grow up to make more and more kittens. Momma cat actually ended up coming home about a week and a half after the kittens left. She keeps looking for them I keep telling my friend to bring th momma cat to me so I can get her spayed. My vet already offered to do it for free since I have brought him so much business taking care of so many cats.

That's the difference between cats and dogs. A dog needs someone to lead them. A cat needs someone to love them, to take care of them, to pet them, etc., and give them places to hide when the cat wants to be alone. A dog often can't deal with being alone, away from their human. A cat is independent and chooses whether to be with a human or other animals, or not to be with them. But when a cat chooses to be with you (somehow it senses that you've had a lousy day and you need the cat's company), it can turn a lousy day into a good day. However, when a cat hisses at you ... well, maybe the cat is the one having a lousy day and wants to be left alone for awhile ... or it just doesn't like you. (If it were left up to me, I'd rather be hissed at by a cat than barked at by a dog.)

Such a sweet story. I have a mom I named patches that brought her kittens to my house. She has 4 beautiful babies also. Thank you for caring for the homeless kitties and giving them shelter ,security and food. It takes us to make a loving difference for these fur babies

I know huh. She is tame i wander if some heartless human throw her away. 💔. It's just like us to do that to them. And they are soo forgiven to us and always give us a chance. My friend found a beautiful dog I forgot the name of the breed it's the same in lady, the tramp. He had a menge, and he was sooo hungry. She stopped her car and opened the back door and said come on let's go. He. Just jumped she took him home and gave him food when he was finished he burped so loud. She was so surprised 😮😂. And his fur grew. Then she discovered why they didn't want him. When he gets happy jumping around. He Is Pissing. Not a lot but enough for someone to clean after him. Luckily she has a huge back yard. And he is not the only dog she has 4 more. He is happy 😊. Playing around.

Civilisations after Civilisations owe them our existence. It's the cat cleaning homes, street's, shopping areas. Where rat's are dancing the nights away. Cat cleaned the rat's away. And snakes. If you have a house and you have snakes 🐍.they will not come in. Because even if we don't have a ear to listen the cat has 2 ears. And they know exactly where the snake is. And they will fight out the turf. And have a tasty fresh snake for dinner. And if they love you. They are going to drag it and invite you for dinner 🍽😋. The black death killed 30 million people. It was the cat. 1 again saved us. The rat 🐀bringing it from city, city. Jumping ship 🚢. Fleas came with the help of the rat's.

I love tuxedo cats, they're always dressed for the occasion. Akeera looks like she has an arrow pointing to the back of her head, between her eyes. So cute. I even had a grey and white tuxedo cat with a white spot on the tip of his tail. Never had a grey and white tuxedo before him, always black and white tuxedos. My brother even had a 30lb black and white named shadow. He was mostly white, but so sweet. He wasn't fat, he was just big. He had to put him down, just about the time his wife my sister in law, passed away. He now had a grey and white tabby named Sheriff, and SH. It's the bad word, I won't use it on here.

I find it fascinating how trusting of humans some mother cats can be. We had one that had a litter of kittens in the very end of a space between two buildings that was unreachable, and she deadass pulled them out and brought them to us knowing we could help her.

I ve worked with straycatsmoms, i've never seen one so tame and aproachable. Obviously she is acustumed to humans. I had the job to catch the mothers and her offspring for the better. I can tell it was never a walk in the park.

poor momma cat, probably just thrown away, she looks like a kitten herself still. Glad she was tame enough to find you and glad you helped her. Sometimes we adopt pets, sometimes they adopt us.

Yes she is quite small isn’t she. Cats start procreating (mating and having kittens) at six months! Each pregnancy is around nine weeks or 63 days and each female will have 2-6 kittens each time. Then those kittens start procreating at six months and so on and so on. If you adopt a kitten please have them spayed or neutered! It can be done as early as six weeks and your cat will be happier and healthier and will not be contributing to the overpopulation of domestic cats in this world. Love and blessings to you all.

The bars on the windows are an indirect proof that this is a high crime area. If people do not have to spend money for such bars, they won't The curves of the metal are lovely, but these bars are not primarily artistic.

I don’t know if cats can “smell kind hearts” but she definitely guessed by your behavior that you were *safe*, so that’s pretty cool. Pretty sure cats feeling safe with you is their best compliment.

If nothing else there was probably a smell of food and other (calm) cats around the area, both of which would signal "this is a safe space" to a mother cat. So even if cats can't sense "kind hearts" a heart that is kind to cats will tend to create spaces that cats are attracted to. All that being said, cats visit our patio ALL THE TIME despite the fact that we don't feed them and our cats are NOT okay with their presence.

@@_huggerpuff_ Cats don't kiss. Most cats hate kisses. It means they are comfortable and trust you. They dont see us as a threat or prey. In wich case they wouldn't let you out of their eyes even for a second. Blinking is their way of signaling they feel safe. It means " I won't eat you and you won't eat me- we cool " No need for unessesary romatism. The fact that a cat, a predator considers your presence safe and comforting (especially with kittens) is a great complitment.

I had a barn cat that never came into my house. She was a little friendly but not too much. On the day she gave birth she ran into the house and gave birth to her first kitten in my hand.. it was a humbling experience. She knew I would help.

I have two Tuxedo brothers, a rescue old Calico Cat, a small Rescue Dog and they all get along well together. I am currently feeding a male Tuxedo feral cat. He is coming closer each time he comes. Winter is here and I want him to have shelter and be fed.

Mother cats look for 2 things when raising there young. The 1st and most important is seclusion, they want to be hidden in a quite warm place away from potential threats and other animals. As you showed your not a threat and have several secluded locations on your property, the mother probably deemed it a suitable location. Especially suitable once you fulfilled requirement number 2, the location is close by to either multiple food sources or a reliable food source. You fulfilled this one to a tee giving her really good food instead of kibble.

Not to mention a human who already is capable of serving kittens. (The first encounter) was a giveaway that this human is a potential candidate, worth looking into and testing a few days and do a proper review analysis. (Mother cat spent a few days testing the habitat before accepting the deal and bringing the kids). Seems like a very smart mother cat who does a thorough quality control for the sake of her kids!

That's exactly right.. Also as well as a warm and secluded location, they look for it to be dry, and lastly close to their kittens current location. I expect she did some snooping around over the first three days to see if there was a location such as you described. Looks like she found the perfect spot!

This also happened to me many years ago. I was in bed and felt something walk across my bed. A stray cat had entered through my cat door and one-by-one brought me her kittens. I never saw her after that. She either knew she was unable to take care of them or a local male cat may have started killing them. They all lived. Good luck with your gifts.

I live in farm country, so we have a bunch of stray kitties around my home. I feed them and make little shelters for them, and if I'm lucky, some of them will finally trust me enough to come inside. I've found good homes for 7 kitties this past year. I even had a mama kitty and her two kittens, and I found a nice lady who took the whole family. I've been lucky to find very nice people to adopt these poor kitties out to. You seem to be a step ahead of me, with that lovely, two story cat home. I need one of those! Bless you for taking care of that poor mama kitty and all her lovely babies. I hope they're all doing well!

Oh, yeah, I once had a few Feral Cat Feeding Stations where I would do Catch Neuter Release. It can get expensive. I found a doctor that would discount everything for ferals (and I was on honor to come back and pay full price for any cats that ended up on my lap watching TV at night). But even discounted, that was a lot of money. Even the food adds up if you have a lot of cats to feed. I just have six (indoor cats.... my Feral Cat Feeding Stations are history) but with the Pandemic I have to make plans for buying all the food they need every two weeks.

@@leovolont are you in the US? Humane society may help with food for the ferals. I know we were getting a bag of dry food every few weeks from humane society, free of charge. That was quite awhile ago as well, so call first to see if they will help with food. Also, we have a group in my city that collects donated large coolers that we fill with straw and drill a hole in the side, creating a shelter for the ferals, then pass them out to whoever would like to put one or two in their area. It's important that straw is used because any moisture falls to the bottom of the shelter, away from the cat's bodies.

In July last year, we started feeding this heavily pregnant cat in our neighborhood and one day she followed us home. She stayed there during her pregnancy. When she was about to give birth she went away and then came back after delivering her babies. We were happy to know she was okay. We left our home for a few days, when we came back she greeted us warmly and again followed us home. Two days after, she brought all five of her babies to us. They were about a week old. They stayed for a long time. And due to the complaints of the people in our apartment, we had to send them down, we found a safe place and kept them there, always gave them food. I watched those babies grow up in front of me. One day, one of them died due to a car accident, one was gone, another one again died. The remaining two then came back in front of our porch and stayed there. They would follow us whenever we stepped out of the house and would wait for us to come back too. They were about 5 months when one of them left in the dark of the night. The mother cat had now turned aggressive towards them, so the remaining last was scared of her. I already had a four-month-old male kitten inside, so my mother was not allowing me to keep her as well. She turned weak, it was too cold outside. My mother then let her in, and then we noticed that she was depressed and sick. She was always asking to be a pet, to be loved. The male kitten had started playing with her when she was outside, so he was happy then she was in. And now both of them cannot be without each other and it's the warmest thing for me. She is so gentle and calm. ❤️

I hope(but doubt)that those miserable neighbors learn first hand what life is like on the streets.We have to b careful now with strays as there are a few Kravitzs around here with their feral kids,littering & loud 'music'.I hope to go home one day.Just adopted a little boy today.At the moment the two girls are not impressed!Did u try talking to the complainers?What was their problem anyway?

And also because the kids in my neighbor's house wouldn't go back in because they were fascinated with the cats. Well, all is good now since the last cat is still with us (she's a year old now). I'm content with my cats and their habits and no longer care about the neighbors. Not everyone can understand the pain of an animal and sympathize with it. I am just glad that we were able to help.

She sees an opportunity to join your "colony" and become the dominant queen because... 1. The other two cats were younger/smaller than her 2. She's probably living alone without a related cat(s) to help her care for her kittens

When I lived in Memphis, TN there was a pretty black long haired stray cat that showed up on my doorsteps both times she was pregnant. She would start coming around shortly before she was to give birth. She had both sets of kittens on my bedroom floor. She didn't like being an inside cat as being outside was all she ever knew. I fed her and her kittens and would let her come and go as she wished. Each time when the kittens were weaned and adopted out she would disappear. I love animals and especially cats. Everyone please spay/neuter your cats and dogs. Animals have pretty good instincts and they know a wonderful person like you when they see them. The kitten is so adorable and loving!!
