You and Katy have inspired me to hunt for agates, I don't live in the best place for minerals.. but great fossils and artifacts here. There have been some banded agates so far though, but not real abundant.

@@therockpile6734 I totally agree! Most of the agates I find are about the size of my thumbnail or smaller. I would totally flip if I found agates the size he's finding.

Queen's Gambit is a great show....I also recommend it! Loved all your finds...I'm partial to Pet Wood myself, living just a mile or so away from Yakima Canyon, WA (where whole trees are buried in the hills) and down the road apiece from the Ginkgo Petrified Forest and of course the infamous Saddle Mtn site. My dad loved Arizona and I have a few of his pieces gathered in the 1960's & 70's.

Agate's there are huge! I don't see much of the oranges and deep reds that we see here in Oregon but the size is incredible. If you want to come out to Oregon just hit me up. It's best in January and February in my opinion, as long as the high water comes down.

I’m extremely draw to moss agate and have an extensive collection of pieces I have purchased, so I fell in love with yours instantly. Plus the black specks all over it…just stunning. I find agates around here on the coast (Oregon) but I’ve only found a moss included agate. It was very unique though with moss that is bright yellow and orange inside and the agate was forming around one piece of moss in a bubble formation (not quite botryoidal). That’s as close as I’ve gotten. But I know it’s possible to find moss agate here. I watch your videos and Montana rock mom and I’m just in awe. I would give absolutely anything to spend an entire weekend rock hunting with you guys. The stuff you have out there is like what we have out here but on steroids 😂
