I had a dream about John last night. I went to a small show in a large garage. Afterwards I snuck backstage and he gave me some drugs he had invented. He was kind of wired and scary but still John. Afterwards he invited me to follow his tour bus as they road to another town.

Tyler Spidel Sure, this song is about anxiety and paranoia, especially that which accompanies drug use. The narrator constructs lies and false narratives for themselves and their companion to tell no one in particular, for no reason in particular, other than the vague feeling that they should keep their shit secret.

Mr Silver absolutely. Really like the way you put that..I connect with this on such a level.. I swear I try to get people to understand. And I don't know what there damn problem is... Most of them.consider this terrible. But I'm sourly convinced they don't know what real music is.

Tyler Spidel. Heh. I'm glad I could help. I imagine for a lot of people the simple, low-key presentation is a turn-off. I imagine, also, that a lot of people don't generally feel what's being expressed in the song, so it doesn't strike them as hard. Still, I think people should generally be able to recognise that there is _something_ there, at least, even if it's not something that strikes them personally.
