Oh, HELL YEAH!!!!.... talk about a bad-ass Marching Band...not that I'm biased or anything...we swept everything at EVERY compitition with this show!!!..and, we brought home "The Lady" for keeps...She was ours, all ours HA-HA-HA!!!...and, our Drum Major, one Mr. Bryan Kreft...well, you don't get many Drum Majors that can do what he could....second best drum major in the ENTIRE STATE of California...plus, he was the drum major to the "Santa Clara Vanguard"...you don't get THAT for being an "OK" drum major!!!..and, he actually went on to become my younger brother's instructor...and, a few years later, my brother went on to become a kick-ass Drum Major for Mtn View as well...but, I would have to say...in my 4 years at Mtn View High School...this was the BEST show we did.. it was all about the "scatter-drill and flash cubes"...which WE invented...the "flash cubes".....so, here it is....Mtn View HS's 1992 Les Miserables...oh, and by the way...HIGH BRASS KICKS ASS!!!! (translation...trumpets RULE!!!!)

these was the golden days of the MVHS marching band. i didn't even march until '96 but i used to watch all these shows!! PLEASE POST MORE.

This is an incredible show. This is going to be my fourth (final) year marching in the Spartan Marching Band and if we could put on a performance like this I would be blown away. I'm honored to be a part of the legacy of this band.

Not a problem. We're actually doing 4 competitions this year - Cupertino TOB, Foothill Band Review, Gilroy, and Folsom.

I saw a band do this show at MICCA this past fall. It was beautifully done like this one is, and they used French flags for the colorguard!

Nobody really goes to Lodi anymore - I'm not sure if they're even going to have the competition. We haven't actually had any competition there since 2004. We'll be going to Gilroy and Folsom this year.

Yeah, Foothill's difficult but they've got the nicest field that we get to march on. We'd like to consider Homestead our rivals, though their financial situation seems to be better than ours and thus their band is able to afford more staff, instruments, and competitions.

Whereas this is a good performance, there's no energy. Very...blah. And the drum major was too messy with his pattern. I mean no harm, but as a band director, I must tell the truth.
