What makes me even sadder is that Rupert Grint was THE perfect Ron in my opinion, and he seemed to know that he and his character were being done dirty, especially in the later films. It definitely seems like someone (Kloves? Yates? IDK) REALLY loved Emma/Hermione because she was made near-perfect at everything with hardly any flaws in the films, like they gave Ron's "If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us first!" line (which he said while standing on a broken leg?!?!) to Hermione in the third film?!? 😭 Ron deserved so much better

The movies have given Ron's lines to Hermione way more than 7 584 627 856 times. Also, the movies made Ron look like an idiot way more than 4 372 896 times. Great video.

The directors really seemed to hate Ron. They gave all the good things he did in the books to Hermione for some reason. Like, they didn't need to do that because both Hermione and Ron were already great characters in the books.

Yes, which is where that whole argument comes from. In the books though, even under the horcruxes influence he doesn’t say that. In the books he doesn’t say the whole “you have no family” thing, or the “I saw you two the other night”(because it makes literally zero sense, the horcrux was clearly trying it on, but he wasn’t stupid enough to believe it).
