That's actually my favorite line in the whole movie. Rachel Weisz as Evelyn makes this movie for me. Her chemistry with Brendan Fraser doesn't hurt either.

This movie is like 15% comedy so yeah

I know that's what I love about classic films like this the characters have humor moments that feels natural to their personalities without it being forced like all the Marvel movies nowadays. Like Evelyn is a bookworm and obsessed about facts so obviously she would correct someone in any situations, it makes sense for the character, nowadays they probably will have Rick do a danceoff with Imhotep...

Benny wasn’t wrong though forever and entirety are the same thing anyways she was just being a bitch.

Eternity and Forever are the same, so no correction was actually needed.

You're so right actually...the only blood seen is on rick's shirt and imhotep's hand (after getting stabbed) at the end battle inside hamunaptra. It's fantastic how they didn't need to show any.

It honestly helps that you never see exactly what Imhotep is doing to the people he "eats"

Well, it's partly his own fault for being greedy and opening the chest, along with Burns, Henderson, and the Egyptologist.

It probably would not have worked. Because even though Anck-Su-Namun's organs may have survived over 3,000 years of preservation, they would eventually turn to dust and Imhotep would still use Evy as a sacrifice for Anck-Su-Namun to live again.
