To this day, 25 years ago, the legendary film The Mummy came out. To celebrate our love of the film, we made this song fixating on the single greatest cinematic moment in history: Beni thought he had the edge against Rick O'Connell as they stood face-to-face across a river. But Beni, he was on the wrong side of the river.

And Tom Cruise's abysmal try to make the Mummy property his own (his Mummy was like 90% self-input from Cruise during production, changing the movie entirely. Check out the video on Bullets and Blockbusters for the full story cuz it's sick what Universal let him do to what could have been a fantastic reboot to the franchise. Although OG Mummy movie reigns as king any day

If anyone came for the track without knowing the context, Beni betrayed one of the protagonists, Rick O’Connell, at some point in the past, and now is competing with him to lead their respective parties to an Egyptian site first. After a boat goes down, Beni winds up with all of the horses and equipment, which he tries to rub in Rick’s face, until Rick reminds him that he’s on the wrong side of the incredibly deep river, so even with all the equipment, he’s now far behind Rick.

I'm so happy to see JT Music just making music about what they love. Wild music about Shrek villain's, 25 year old movies and whatever else they feel like. Fostering a fanbase that loves and supports whatever they want to pump out because we all know its going to be amazing. These guys have been a huge part of my life for like a decade now, maybe more tbh. Im just happy to see them having fun, they deserve it.
