2 жыл бұрынA tale of murder in rural west Wales in 1869. Esther Davies the 21 year old new wife of a farmer was shot through a downstairs window whilst preparing supper. Her husband’s brother was suspected of her murder and brought to trial but released. Did he kill her and get away with it? Did Esther’s husband cover up her murder to protect his own brother? Was the whole thing planned even before Esther was married? Maps and illustrations are my own.

Love social stories from time gone by, but stories from Wales are the best.

I justbwanered across this. You have a good story voice this very interesting as I from England residing in Wales . Even the accent isn't a barrier love the drawings too .

Fascinating! Women had a rough time of it back then. I don't doubt David Davies did it out of jealousy. Loved the illustrations. Thank you!

Love how you do these, didn’t realize till someone explained it. You need a staff, and more subs. This is a great idea.

Sad story, it does sound as if the domestic staff were intimidated in some way.

This is oddly like the other one, where the servant girl was killed by/in the pond. Weird.
