When I was in 8th grade, there was a recording sent to my friends from an unknown number, where if you hear a snippet it sounds like I was badmouthing them, but if you heard the whole thing it was actually me saying that even if people say bad stuff about them then I would still stay with them. I lost all my friends, and it turned out that it was one of the people in my friend group who was jealous because their crush had a crush on me. Anyways, the whole episode hit really close to home, to the point it was kinda triggering to watch, but I honestly hate how they didn't listen to him, since I went through the same thing. I also don't get why they would believe it when it came from Zoey, who they knew bullied them and hated them, to the point she would want to tear apart their friendships. Like, how were they not at least a little suspicious that she had twisted the story? And even if it wasn't Zoey like I think it is, the same thing would apply to everyone else in the Jomies and it would (not really) apply to Lia. So, I've been binge watching these reaction videos, kinda hoping my friends find out about the truth in a similar way, or just any way. Also this literally happened a couple months ago, so yeah

Fam I haven't seen that much of the music freaks but I'm glad I did. What BOTH groups did to Jake was horrible. The music freaks actively emotionally manipulated and guilt tripped Jake and the bullies did the same thing. It's like both groups have been having a feud from Middle school but then got Jake caught in the middle, constantly forcing him to pick a side and it's not fair to Jake. I honestly don't feel that muck sympathy for the Music Freaks in episode 9 with the way they've been treating him up until now. They treated him like dog shite and now they're mad!? HONESTLY justice for Jake. He doesn't deserve any of this. And if ANYONE blames Jake then something is wrong with you.

The funny part is that Drew asked what happened in the part when Jake's music friends left him in sadness and anger because of what jake's said. Let's just say it has something to with Drew cuz you know, he recorded it.

i feel like if they knew how messed up jake actually is and felt inside they would be terrified. rather up to now, they've been seeing him (at the start) as the typical bully, after they knew him but still never really trusted him unless jake did stuff for them. jake only wants a place to fit in, doesn't want the same to happen like in middle school, but his constant feeling of wanting acceptance anywhere lead him to be with people who socially pressured him to be someone he's not so he wouldn't be bullied anymore, and when he found a place he could finally be himself that other feeling of being scared towards something bad ever happening again lead him to say all that stuff and for everything to repeat again..

THIS WAS SO GOOD. usually people who don’t tend to adjust their characters faces and hair and such can be unpredictable, but today I found an actually good video without adjustments for once!! Props to you!!

*⚠️spoilers⚠️* i know im late but for anyone who doesnt know why jake had said all that stuff is because he was pressured into it and was pushed by the anger from his past trauma, as it shows in the video he was bullied and he had nobody he was titled as a “freak”. drew and the others were the first people to be friends with him and that made him glad somebody wanted to be friends with him, then when jake had said that all zoey recorded it then sent it to lia. without zoey knowing lia sent it to the music club and they got mad at him for it even though he didnt mean what he said, then when zoey found out that lia had posted it she got mad and sent it to the whole school. thats where its at currently, cant wait for the next episode. 🎤🎵

I can relate to Jake, I may not have experienced bullying (as far as I know) but I can't find a place, i don't fit anywhere, and that's because of how I think and the way I act, because in my school, everyone is so different to me, the teachers are the only ones I can talk to without feeling like what in saying I boring, besides i also love music, but my music taste is also different 😢 all my classmates listen to is Regional Mexicano and i listen to English songs (I'm from México)
