This song had an interesting story. It was offered to a number of singers before Shirley Bassey: Frank Sinatra and then Johnny Matthis, who agreed and then pulled out. It was then offered to Kate Bush, who couldn't do it because she was on tour. It was finally offered to Shirley Bassey. She never considered it to be her song, and so rarely performed it. It's a shame because it's one of the best Bond theme songs.

nope ..... i love this song . he sings it lovely , but it wasnt feminine enough ... 7 out of ten ... its not his song
