I hate the Island Song. I always have. I hate it. So when Dan said 'aw Jakers it would be the shiz if the Island Song were playing for this whole sequence' (yes he did say the shiz and I'll fight anyone, especially Dan, who says he didn't) I said okay I'll do it.
And I did. And I begged for death, but Dan said 'no'. I pleaded for reason and screamed 'wouldn't something, anything, go here and have just the same effect?' but Dan said 'no'. So I am left here, having arranged the Island Song and NOT Gone Fishin' which is an infinitely better song AND a bop, and also some edward themes and stuff i dunno. Now starting work on the direct sequel, 'The End of the Beginning'.

How dare you dislike the Island Song. That is punishable by a good old fashioned Two Faced Tart Terrorising...suffer the wrath of one of my plugs: go watch Consider The Following, it's a good series, you'll like it! (or not) Very good score Jake! You've nailed it once more, the video would not have been half as good without it! Good show man!

Any particular reason for hating the Island Song? I thought it was pretty inoffensive at its worst. Great job by the way. ( *Laughs in sith* ) Your hatred has made you strong.

Well done arranging Tardisrescue video! As for the Island Song while I don't hate it I personally think its bit overrated I prefer Night Train or the Snow song along with Gone Fishing.

I can take the point of your despise of 'The Island Song'. I myself was never particularly moved by the generic nature of the lyrics from a primary standpoint, but now that I evaluate it further based on your reaction, I do get the music tempo is not very inspired either; it's not like proper whimsical melodic beats but just like lame winging followed by plain 'boom, boom, boom's passed somewhat half-heartedly over as a song. A pity, as most of the other classic songs are great toe-tappers in both beat and lyric. Regards, Samuel Farris.
