RIP to your wallet. Once you go with Apple and buy one other Apple device you’ll never go back. Even the iPhone and AirPods combo will quickly show you how seamless the ecosystem is. Having a Mac, iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and seeing how seamlessly the whole experience works together is undeniably good. With the main benefit being everything just working together with no setup required and things just somehow interacting with each other without you doing anything. Such as a Mac knowing an iPad is in the same room and letting you just move your cursor off the monitor and onto the iPad to make it an extended display OR control the iPad with your keyboard and mouse. AirPods auto switching to whatever device you’re currently using with no lag or setup. It’s great. Hope you enjoy!

@@wushdishmeen could not be more true, got the phone, got the AirPods Pro 2, HomePod Mini, iPad Pro 11” M2 with magic keyboard, no Mac though…dont use a computer that often, and when i do, the programs i use are PC only. Not saying i wouldnt love to have one, but its the one thing i really dont feel i have a use for.

Apple wise I currently have a maxed out 5K iMac, maxed out 16” MacBook Pro w/M2 Pro chip, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Pro, Apple Watch Series 5 Stainless Steel, AirPods 3rd Gen, HomePod, Apple TV, and then our home is setup with a bunch of HomeKit devices. The HomePod and Apple TV double as thread border routers/hubs for them. It all works seamlessly together in perfect harmony and I can’t see myself ever leaving the ecosystem. Mac is the best platform for my video/audio production workflow. Although I also have a nice Windows desktop and PS5 hooked into my multi-monitor setup for the rare occasion where I want to play a demanding video game. However, Apple is currently making big moves into the gaming space so that may change in the next few years. I have plans to eventually upgrade the 5K iMac to the Mac Studio once it gets the inevitable M3 chip so I can be fully transitioned to Apple silicon and run Mac OS Sonoma like I can on my new MacBook Pro. The Apple Watch 5 is still pristine because of the Sapphire glass and steel body so I’m less inclined to upgrade that. Although I had my eye on the Series 9 for the battery/display improvements. Maybe will just wait for the Series 10 as it’s no big rush. The Watch Ultra I find too large and bulky. Other than that all the other devices will last me many years and are solidified. Would be nice if the Magic Touchpad 2 got USB-C and if they released AirPods Gen 4 with noise cancellation and USB-C. I don’t like the rubber tips in my ear on the AirPods Pro’s. But I use wireless charging (Apple MagSafe charger) for all of my mobile devices anyway so not a huge deal. But it would complete the USB-C transition. So yea, Apple has collected a fortune from me! But I’m happy with my setup.

Definitely. A wired mic is so much better than a Bluetooth mic so for call quality, EarPods are better than AirPods.

I was gonna get one but forgot to. I then learn about the vision pro and how it will have lossless with AirPods Pro. I’m gonna get the AirPods because I’m thinking of getting the vision pro.

Also they support lossless audio which at that price blows my mind

I actually just bought them last week, and was pretty disappointed. They have diopters to adjust for your prescription which is great, but there’s no way to adjust ipd, pupil distance, and there was no setting that made them comfortable. Pretty much caused immediate eye strain. Also, the Rokid Max app is no longer on the App Store for iOS. So all it can do is display video. Which, if it works for you ipd, the screen is damn sharp and looks great. But I’m returning it haha

I noticed that too, haha. There wasn’t compression on the lav mics which brings up the room sound, but the second one sounded pretty good. I’m guessing he’s using a boom mic which is technically higher quality but the compression and EQ will alter the end sound

Yes you can convert USB-C to Lightning. Lightning only transmits data and power using USB 2.0 protocol. So you’d be losing USB 3.0 unless you use the only accessory with USB 3.0. Which is the Lightning to USB 3.0 camera adapter made for the iPad Pro 12.9” which has a USB 3.0 lightning port. Then convert Lightning to usb-c. Otherwise Lightning wasn’t anything special it’s just the form factor that is proprietary. But for example I plugged a USB-C to Lightning cable I had lying around from my 15 pro max charge port into my AirPods 3rd gen with Lightning case to pair them and it started charging and paired them right away. (I had an AirPod replaced via AppleCare and before you used to have to charge the new AirPod in the case near the phone for like an hour for it to recognize it. Using the new method that allows direct wire to AirPods made them pair instantly)
