They're called *Self-Annihilators* and they simply have the power of the Nihility, despite it being said that the sleeping and shapeless (IX) has no purpose in blessing others.

@@NanduRNair It's actually said in the Story of Honkai Star Rail, that the Aeons are fighting each other and that the stronger ones absorb the weaker ones. I'm not sure what exactly it was they absorb, if it was their power or ability or even their domain but I know it was said in the Story. I think Herta explained that.

@@NanduRNair its mentioned that when two Paths of a Aeon collide the less diverse path is absorbed by the broader path. The Order was Absorbed by The Harmony is the specific example they give.

Yeah I realised that during! Also to clarify the second point, does that mean the text during each introduction isn't referring to the Aeon themselves since it often refers to the subject as "she" in a couple of them? Also- I don't look at leaks and would prefer not to in any capacity

@@BranOnline it wasnt a leak, fortunately. this female character's title and name was in the video description for the Chinese version of the trailer, but for some reason the english one didnot include this crucial info in the descrption. she is called Black Swan, The Rememberer (or The Memokeeper). her affiliation is UNKNOWN. people theorize she's either an eminator of Fuli OR maybe another stelleron hunter like Silver Wolf.

If you've played Honkai then they're likely equivalent to the Cacoon of Finality. I think it's safe to say 100% unplayable unfortunately :(

HSR's whole shtick is traveling to and experiencing new worlds. I makes sense that MC won't be spending as much time on each world as the Traveler did in each Nation of Teyvat.

@@Hafiere oh yeah it totally does make sense but it still has such a weird feeling to it. There are currently 7 paths and we are already able to unlock 2 of them (I didn't finish the story on the Lofou so idk weither we can unlock the hunt path as well at the moment but it should come soon enough). It just doesn't feel like a long journey rn and I'm really confused about the pacing in this game.

It may be because of how world is build in the game. In Genshin maps are far more complex and bigger, so to be able to make them they have to slow down the story.

@@dekan9774 I think that 7 worlds in a row with a Stellaron Crisis and a new path for the Trailblazer are a bit much. The Astral Express crew have remarked that Jarillo-VI was a lot for a first Trailblazing Expedition. I take that to mean that more relaxing destinations are the norm and not the exception. I think there should be ways to make a world feel impactful without getting a Stellaron Involved.

@@redxd7108 oh yeah absolutely but when it comes to these things I think it helps to see them in a more like- kinda cultish way? It connects with the world and its people. The act of hunt goes from survival, to anger to the experience of hunting itself. Enjoying the chase and what it brings, not wanting it to end. I just think its interesting that every aeon isn't purely good, the things they want and influence and are born from both lead to bad and good things.

Just in case - "Finality" here is written in DIFFERENT hierogliphs than in HI3, someone said, so there is HARDLY a connection with HoFi (Kiana). And about the fact that HoFi Kiana is HARDLY connected with "Finality" from HSR. That is, they are NOT the same person (as some probably want to believe). Simply put, there are probably some parallels between the two games in this regard, but NOT a DIRECT connection. Although, of course, the opposite is also possible, given that all Hoyoverse games are interconnected).

wouldnt it also be hard to put HI3 and Star Rail in the same universe? Especially cus we would have multiple ppl with the same name and appearance? I get them putting Genshin and HI3 in the same universe as there is no overlapping of characters. but wouldnt it be a bit much with star Rail?

@@YvaiatheDemon Welt from HI3 is the same Welt from HSR who traveled through a space portal with the humanoid AI named Void Archives. HSR and HI3 are connected by this characters. It is not the same universe but confirmend to be a parallel universe based of the Alien Space manga from HI3.

Nah, we might not know much about HSR Finality but nothing implies they actively mess with time in HI fashion with the intention of making humanity achieve what it wants

The difference between them is that Nahida dosen't generate monstrous creatures in the form of gifts and Nahida's main powers is related to dream rather than life itself, she is more of a follower to Fuli rather than Yaoshi

I don't think the mc is a reincarnation of Akivilli. In the trailer, Black Swan says "Akivilli (Trailblazer) departs once more". Trailblazer is just a title, MC is one of them, as well as every Nameless (March, Dan heng, Welt, Himeko and even PomPom i'd say) Black swan probably talked about Akivilli departing once more because Welt and Himeko are re-opening the star rail like Akivilli once did

She is known as Black Swan. On the CN version of the trailer on bilibili, she is labelled as 忆者 and 黑天鹅. 忆者 means “memory person” so we can presume she serves Fuli of the Remembrance. 黑天鹅 means Black Swan, so this is her name (the names of the VA are listed after so its basically confirmed)

While the existence of Aeons in genshin doesn’t really work because of how Paths affect humans, it is possible that Lumine and Aether are something similar.

@@elainasynranelt remember aether and lumine say that they travel worlds. That's why I thought they might be the 1st trailblazers to ever exist. Given that at that time trailblazing wasn't a term yet. Also aeons are galactic beings not any planetory beings so them not having any relevance to teyvat is possible. But imo celestia being an aeon is also a possibility. In which case it's in the process of turning into an aeon as it doesn't really affect anyone directly except acknowledging them of their desires by giving them visions and destroying civilizations that do not obey them. Maybe some eons later aether and lumine qualified to become aeons and turned into akivili

@@Alvis183 You misunderstand me. When a person follows the path of an Aeon they gain special abilities. This is referred to as the “gifts” of that path. (“Paths: Those who follow the Paths of the Aeons closely may gain that path’s Gifts”) There are characters with powers from other sources, like march and Stelle/Caelus but by in large their abilities come from the Paths. If Aeons existed in genshin, there would undeniably be at least one person who met that criteria, and since there aren’t, we can surmise that there aren’t Aeons in genshin. Besides, you said it yourself, Aeons are galactic beings. It’s unreasonable that The Trailblaze would lose against a worldly god, and plus, you completely misunderstand how Aeon paths work. Even if there *were* Aeons in genshin, they wouldn’t be the same paths as in star rail. There are _tens of thousands_ of Paths, all nuanced and different. The chances of two different universes having the same paths is literally 1 in ten thousand. And even if, say, they did happen to be Aeons, Only one would be alive. A Path can only have one Aeon, and similar paths absorb each other (Like how Xipe the Harmony absorbed Ena the Order) meaning that even if they were two different Aeons with similar paths, one of them would absorb the other’s path automatically, killing them instantly. So either Aether or Lumine would be dead. We’ve seen the feats of power Stellaron can pull off. Stellaron are tiny fragments of The Destruction’s power. Aether and Lumine are simply too weak to be Aeons. It’s an interesting theory, but it really breaks down in practice.
