I still think that Zalama split himself into the namekian race "that's why they can re-fuse with any other namekians and it increasestheirpower so drastically" and they are only in universe 6 and 7 which would explain why the super dragon balls are only in those universes. This would also explain why he is absent but still alive and why the universal dragonballs are still functioning.

I really hope when Super returns, they go deep into the lore of the Super Dragon Balls and show his first appearance of the creator of them.

I always thought, since the days before Super, it would be cool if the Dragon Balls were made from actual stars. This would explain why each ball has a star inside them, they shoot across the sky like a shooting star after a wish is made, and it playing into the cliche “if you wish upon a Star.”

The Divine calendar to me is how man years that existence itself has been in reality. If the dragon balls can not exceed the power of its creator then the creator of the super dragon balls is most likely all mighty and over Zeno due to the fact it can undo Zeno's powers and Zeno even takes a stand out of respect to the dragon when summoned. Zalama probably over sees the omniverse and my theory is that the dragon balls were a gift to balance out the omni kings power knowing he is a child who will delete a universe out of anger. The super dragon balls were not erased when universe 6 was meaning they are not connected to that universe but they rest there. Now why it was gifted to universe 6 & 7 vs across the multiverse is a mystery to me still. Another theory is that maybe Zalama foreseen Goku and that was his reason for placing them in 7 knowing one day the universe's would be at risk and Goku possessed the selfless heart to restore it all. And another thing, Zeno is bound to time due to the fact he can be brought from another timeline within his multiverse. So to me Zeno is a God of Destruction of the dbz universe specifically. Like a child, if he sees something that makes him angry, he will want to get rid of it. Its his reality and he owns it given to him by Zalama. Zalama is the God of Creation which is obvious. This is just what I think about all of this. The subliminal message I see is that we are like children who are given the power to create life and destroy it at will. It's very scary. I'm sure thats how the Dbz character's in T.O.P felt. They could be erased because a child didn't like what they had seen or they were lied to. Plus Zeno in theory to me is probably a child that explains a piece of Toriyama's childhood or what a child is like through his eyes. the angels are watching and protecting him and all he wants to do is play, watch cool fights and have fun. He owns the DBZ universe

I absolutely am in love with Unsolved Mysteries the show and I absolutely love the opening to this awesome new series, it legitimately makes me laugh and smile, I love this idea and I am very surprised that you haven't done this before.

Really fun series; loved the unsolved mysteries theme. I feel like the super dragon balls will become a major part in an upcoming story arc, likely as a way for the main characters to further unlock / realize potential. Discover new forms, abilities, etc. Possibly even as a means to combat allies turned villains...i.e. vs GoD, Angels, Grand Priest!

I think Zalamu must be tied to the Namekians somehow. I mean the Super Dragonballs only exist in the universes that the Namekians reside in. I actually like the idea of the Namekians possibly being the descendants of Zalama. It makes sense to me. It would also help to explain the more mystical elements of the race.

Therefore his level of immortality is lower that zenos capabilities to destroy. If zamasu didn't die to zeno then yeah I'd agree that zalama > zeno Plus we know zeno is king of all universes whereas zalama left the dragonballs in only two which may suggest a jurisdiction of some sort. Idk but that's what I always thought. Let me know if i said anything incorrect

I hope the Animators and Akira Toriyama Dive into more about the origin of the Dragon Balls. I mean it been soo many years of Dragon Ball and We have not been introduced to a saga related to that. It would be great for the future of the series as it will help the series come up with a more story driven anime than a fighting only anime.

Great video Danny. In DBS anime it was explained that God's of Destruction and a Supreme Kais are pairs, if one dies they both die. I noticed that Zeno is a destroyer God and not a creator, but the Grand Preist was the one to summon the dragon and so I can't help suspect that Zalama is actually the name Grand Priest, since it hasn't yet been stated by any of the other angels as to what Grand Priest's real actual name is.

Last time I was this early, there were still 18 universes.

You know when I think about it after this video, the Super Dragon Balls being a mystery to the point that even the Angels themselves are clueless about it's true origins and power is something to take into account (considering their other worldly knowledge).

Zalama could be the child of someone from Universe 6, and another from 7. If he's Namekian then that wouldn't work. If he's Namekian his egg could originate from Universe 6, but hatched in Universe 7(or the other way around). I don't think a Namekian could live that long unless he was selected to be a god, and not only has a Nanekians life span, but a gods on top of that(I feel like it's safe to assume being a god in Dragonball allows you to live for a long time based off of The God of Destructions who seem to have been mortals at some point). I doubt anything I said is close to the truth, but until it's confirmed I'll go with it.

Remember this Recently, in the manga it was revealed by Whis that there exists a world of angels. Maybe the same is true for other gods or beings(like a world of dragons) Which makes it evident of the types of users that the Super Dragon Balls were meant for being more prevalent

In the Dragon Ball Super dub, When Beerus says "Grinb kcab htxis s'esrevinu htraE dna ecar namuh", what he actually said was "Bring back the sixth universe's Earth and human race". The ancient language is just English in reverse.

One thing that I have always wondered about when it comes to dragon balls in general is this: It is said that dragon balls can't grant a wish that is beyond the power of the creator. However, when it comes to the Earthling and Namekian dragon balls, Shenron and Porunga have always felt stronger than Kami/Dende/Guru/Moori/Esca to me. For example, Shenron can revive everyone on planet Earth with a single wish (as can Porunga). Can Dende himself do that though? Could Kami or Guru do that? The only non-dragon characters that I can think of that we have actually seen revive someone from the dead are Whis and the elder Kaioshin (who revived Goku at the cost of his own life). At the end of the fight with Kid Buu, Porunga was able to restore Goku to full power (which is what allowed Goku to go Super Saiyan again and finish off Kid Buu with the Super Spirit Bomb). However, Goku's full power (which was at the time Super Saiyan 3) was much higher than the power of Elder Moori or Dende. Basically, I am getting at the fact that the wishes granted by the eternal dragons seem to do things that the creators of the balls have shown no sign of being able to do themselves (e.g. Shenron was able to revive everyone that Cell killed, but I doubt that Dende can do that. If Dende can do that, then why didn't he? Why even gather the balls if Dende can do it himself?). This is despite the statement that the dragon can't do something that is outside of the power of the creator. That is why that statement is somewhat of a source of confusion for me. Forgive me if the series has already touched on this and I am forgetting it. This is just something that I have been thinking about for awhile. @Geekdom101 what do you say about this?

Here's my theory, Zalama is a faceless plot device used to both generate intrigue and avoid explaining the super dragon balls. Maybe we'll get that changed in the next decade or so
