In this special episode, Former Ring Taxi driver Dale Lomas explains everything you need to know about the Nürburgring Nordschleife, like it's history, racing and the famous Tourist Drives (Touristenfahrten).
Please note that this video was recorded back in 2018, so some things might have changed a little in the last few years.
PS: all crash footage in this video was recorded during closed racing events. Also none of the drivers got injured during these events.

Hey all! This video was recorded back in 2018 (long term subscribers will most likely recognize it), however I took the video offline in 2020 since it did not follow the Nürburgring Media Licensing guidelines. Since most of the video is (in my opinion) very informative, I decided to re-edit the video to make it "legal" again. And since my channel has grown a lot since 2020, I figured many new subscribers haven't seen it yet. Let me know what you think!

The fact that some people aren’t actually capable of understanding that Dale is one of the biggest Nurburgring references online and a great example of how to behave on the Nurburgring and appreciate it, amazes me

My brother tells the story better but ... A dude crashed his 30k BMW at the Nordschleife, caused so much damage to the track that rather than repairing the 3k damage to his car, he sold it off to pay the bill. Yeah, it can get THAT expensive and he hasn't rolled it into the forest either, just bent a good chunk of guardrail and left fluids all over the place...

I think it's stupid to scoff at Nascar or any sport, unless you dominated it personally. Nascar is f'iing insane and facinating like all motorsport.

yes they know eachother. but why would you think that Misha could get Dale set up to drive almost any car he wants? the guy in this video is Dale Lomas , one of the real Nürburgring legends , he might be not as big and known from KZfaq and other social media as Misha. lots of people who know Misha from his KZfaq channel think he is the big thing around the Nürburgring , he is just a KZfaqr with a camera (i have lots of respect for what he build up on KZfaq) but i can tell KZfaq is not the real world. ive been going to the Nürburgring for over 10 years now nearly every weekend (its only 250km from where i live) and believe me , guys like Dale are the real deal , people who know they know.i mean if Dale would ask somebody if he could drive their car they most probably would let him have a go

They used to be friends, but I guess as both seem to be pretty difficult persons and I consider Misha as someone who only is frineds with people as long he can get some advantages out of the relationship, it seems like they are not anymore. I Wonder if you ever heard of Boosted Boris, if so you actually would know who Misha is, where he came from and who Dale is as well. I'm convinced Misha became that "big" at YT and the Nürburgring because of people like Dale............ So for you to look up on YT, to educate urself "BTGDale" and "Boosted Boris.

Why can't we have tracks big as if not bigger? I live in Quebec and we could easily make bigger and better As a Stock Car mechanic the thing about "turning left" is all about endurance

Before making a fool of yourself and writing things like that, go visit the VULKANEIFEL and the Nürburgring and then you'll maybe understand why it wouldn't make any sence to build a Track somewhere only to be bigger and then even consider it to be better. I guess for a Nascar mechanic better just means flat, so alle the beerdrinking northamericans cann watch the race while sittig in their car.

I love how Nascar lives rent free in the head of every European. It makes their blood boil everytime they think about it. Mainly because they dont understand it but Europeans dont understand most things lol.
