Getting John Hurt was a pretty big deal and I like the "introducing..." as if he was an unknown. He has been in loads. He was in the first Alien film (not Aliens). Also, the Elephant Man. Also, in some of the Harry Potter films. Glad you enjoyed this. I think it was a great finale (after a so-so series).

When watching this I immediately rewound and watched the pre titles again before getting into the episode, I found it that exciting ! The start of the anniversary celebrations start here ! Looking forward to your reactions to this and what's to come !

Here's some useless information for you chaps. John hurt played Quentin Crisp in the TV movie "The Naked Civil Servant " back in the 70s. Which was produced by Verity lambert 😮 Unfortunately she died 6 years before the 50th 😢
