There are those ending in “el” such as we see with Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Ezekiel, Samuel, Nathaniel, Daniel, Joel where the “el” is a reference to Elohim. The next is the reference to those ending in “ya”, “ah” or the “ah” sound: Joshua (Yehosua) Jeremiah (Yirmeya), Nehemiah (Nehemya), Isaiah (yesaya), Hosea (hosea), Joshua (Yehoshua).
