Hello Everyone, I hope you guys are keeping yourselves safe and for those who are protesting this week's protest safely and peacefully because that's how we can combat all this hate; Today, I'll be addressing Fran Drescher's 93' classic sitcom the Nanny. Fran Fine (Drescher) is a cosmetics saleswoman who works in a Bridal Shop in Flushing, Queens but after a breakup with her Ex-Boyfriend finds herself single, without a job and out on the street. With nowhere left to go and very little to live off of, she sales her remaining cosmetics where she arrives on the doorstep of the wealthy and recently widowed Maxwell Sheffield(Charles Shaughnessy), his three children Maggie(Nicholle Tom), Brighton(Benjamin Salisbury), and Grace(Madeline Zima), his companion Niles the butler(Daniel Davis) and C.C Babcock(Lauren Lane) to which he saw more than Fran could sell, an opportunity, She had style, she had flair, she was there, That's how she became the Nanny. The Nanny would run for six seasons on CBS with its last episode airing on June 19, 1999, The series was also nominated for four Primetime Emmys and two Golden Globe awards from years 95' through 99' I fashioned the credits from Season 3 this time with all assets recreated to fit an Open Matte 16:9 aspect ratio including an updated Tristar Television logo created by me. The Nanny is a breath of fresh air and a show that shares it laughs with many titular sitcoms of the era like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Seinfeld, Friends, Mad About You, Frasier and a slew of other cultural hits that have graced our screens over the years and it will not be forgotten for the laughs it brought audiences around the world; I would like to thank the cast and crew behind the Nanny for 6 years on the air and pray in hopes that they are protecting themselves during this current pandemic but if you're interested in some comedic entertainment with a slice of wholesome stories and an excellent cast then you're in for a treat.
