A narrow gauge layout featuring the mining railroad in Middle Eastern Europe. Small trains run up and down the steep grades in the scenic view with a castle and the mining facilities in a late autumn day. Whistles in the movie are the actual sound sources recorded in Hungary. The size of this layout is 68 mm wide and 28.5 mm deep and the gauge is BUSCH 6.5 mm.

Thx from Hungary! Unfortunately, the railway is no longer there, but its remains are still there, maybe someone will invest in renovating the railway and it will become a tourist attraction. The area is very beautiful, traveling by small train would give people a very nice experience. (Salgóbánya, Somoskői vár, Salgó vára)

A régebben Magyarország különböző pontjain működő bányavasút képével készítettem, ahogy említetted. I made it with the image of the mining railway that was active in various parts of Hungary in the past, as you mentioned. あなたが挙げたような昔ハンガリーのあちこちで活躍していた鉱山鉄道をイメージして作りました。

I like that this is pretty much an adventure movie setting. Everything is exaggerated and there are literary medieval defense structures right next to a mining site and everything is very detailed but there is no pretense to model any specific real world installation. That this is depicted by a Japanese person shines a little bit through with the Boxcab locomotive that has one huge headlight mounted on top and two red lights on the middle of the locomotive facade, i think that is somewhat uncommon in Europe, yet this is not a negative critique it is a charm in its own as I see it. Because this would also be the kind of mistake the animators and set designers of adventure films would make. I can totally picture Lupan III or some other adventure movie character goofing around in this world and having this whole railroad being a plot device in such an adventure movie.

ホントウに素晴らしいレイアウトです！自分も最近模型電車にはまってホビーを始めたものです。ジオラマは作れないけど（笑）ちなみに5年前からこのシーンもおいてるシャルゴの町に住んでます。

地味過ぎるテーマも作者の凄腕に掛かると、アニメ化された世界になり惹き込まれて最後まで魅入ってしまいました、素晴らしい情景感に溢れてますね。シナリーの細かな雰囲気までよく捉えて具現化されてるようです現地へ行ったことないですけどきっとこんな様子なのかなぁ🤗

素晴らしい出来栄えです。屋根が破れているところが素敵です。ものすごい坂でも登るのですね。ラックレールのアップ部分が見たかったです。

おじんのユーザーさん、コメントありがとうございます。過去に何度か質問を頂いている急坂を上る仕掛けですが、下記の如くです。当レイアウトには独BUSCHの製品を使っています。機関車底部にマグネット、線路側には鉄板が埋め込まれてあり、この吸着力で機関車は急坂はおろか垂直な壁さらには天井をも走れる仕組みになっています。軽い小さな車体で牽引力を高める為のアイデアでしょうが、この特長を活かして急坂プランにしてみました。漫画チックですが宙返りのあるジェットコースター的プランも楽しそうです。完成した後に急坂をのぼる姿が不自然に見え、ラックレールを貼り付けてみました。これはインシュロック（コード等を束ねるのに使うギザの付いた樹脂製の帯）を使った見せかけですが、それらしく映ったようで嬉しい気分です。以上、種明かしでした。

Wow, what an amazing model layout ! Where did you buy this wonderful small loco - body ( green - yellow ). Is that an 3D Print body ? I´m looking for something like that. Greetings from germany :-)

Thank you for asking. I made the loco-body from the plastic sheet by cutter knife and put it on the BUSCH chassis which I modified short by 5mm. You can find the small picture of it in process for a very short time at 1:38 in the video below. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e9Z9qrSesrS4fnk.html

Thank you Glenn for taking an interest in my work. German made BUSCH system is used for this layout. A magnet is installed at the bottom of the engines, besides steel plate is laid out between the rails thus the engines can go up and down the steep slopes and even on a vertical wall and or sealing. But the trailers don't have magnets, so big accidents may happen if they are uncoupled from the engine in the steep slope. 東欧　知識も興味も無かった。ましてやナローゲージなんて…。しかしこの作品を見たら一気に引き込まれた。まるで絵画の様なシロモノ。素晴らしいですね。この世界に入り、訪れてみたくなりました。レイアウトの紹介感謝です。

東側　抑圧された民、秘密のベールで閉ざされた諸国　など偏見ばかりが思い浮かぶが。実際に行かれたらまた違うイメージなのかな。元々　国鉄、私鉄には殆ど興味がわかず　幼少期より米国型に惹かれて趣味としてきました。しかし　近年は疲労困憊で長期休養。やれスケールだ編成だと　もうヘキエキ。唯一見つけた拠り所が　ヘロヘロ線路の軽便や自由型でした。しかし、スムーズに走る品が少なく、DCC等デジタルの知識や工作技術の無い者にとっては中々門戸が狭い。もう暫くは　こちらの動画で息抜きします。

拝見いたしました。郷愁を感じますね。素晴らしい！さて　アプト式ですが　実際に何かギミックが備えられてるのですか？スロー走行でよく登るし　転げ落ちる事も無いようですし。３線はダテじゃないのかな？

I'd be interested to know if the rack is cosmetic, or whether it's actually used by the locos for adhesion. If the latter, it must be one of the first model railways to do so.

Did you buy the models or locomotives or did you make them by yourself?

Thank you for your interest in my work. German made Busch range is used in this layout. I modified these locomotives in shorter shape and or put my original body on the chassis like shown in the thumbnail photo. Green box cars are the same using the plastic cover of the relay for the automobile which was just the size. (^^♪

If my standard gauge (1,435 mm) main line is in N Scale, Is it possible for me to build my narrow gauge (610mm narrow gauge) branch line in N Scale too?

The scale of this layout is HO even the the gauge is 6.5mm and if it were N scale, the body size of the trains would be much smaller.
