As a engineer working for an electrical research institution, I always travel around small and impoverished counties in Sichuan. This city is nearly the poorest one among those. But it looks neat and clean. Hard to envisage how poor this place used to be. Great jobs for industrious Chinese people!

The inner area is poorer than the coastal area. Richer province works with less developing province, different local gov't works with different local gov't --- reinvesting and redistributing the wealth. Notice those people with ethnic hats? He is in the ethnic minority area.

Absolutely agree, I have been to this city on a trip. I was traveling by car and was truly amazed by the roads and the infrastructure even in the mountain areas. And the locals are friendly and welcoming.

偶尔看到这个视频，被视频所展示的川西小城的险峻所震撼，也为小城干净整洁的现代化建设而感叹，感谢频主为大家带来的这样有特色的风光视频。但是也给频主提个建议，以后这种视频啊要介绍一下被拍摄地区的基本地理位置，以及周边的主要河流山脉，比如本视频里反复出现的穿城而过的湍急河流是什么河（估计是大渡河）？这样可以增加你视频的地理文化厚度，提高视频质量。

2018年3月去過這裡，住在瀾峰大酒店，原本要參觀街上的，後來沒時間，印象就是旁邊那一條河和那一條橋.因為在那裏走了二趟（乘車）.原本要去新都橋和康定，無奈遇到藏區管制，只得改行程去四姑娘山.

海拔不一样。丹巴县城海拔在1800米左右，这个在丹巴地界算低的。县里其他地方海拔都在三四千，还有很多雪山。
