I can’t believe there’s people who can’t hear how the Rock’s theme came from this it’s literally the Rock’s theme toned down and with Godfather entrance guitar riffs in the background lol

@@Yvanehtnioj2000 yes, The Rock's theme song originates from The Nation song. One of his very first theme songs as The Rock is a variation of this song, it opens up with "Ya smell what the rock is cooking'. You can find that track somewhere posted on KZfaq. WWE, Jim Johnson or whatever just made variations of that theme song as newer versions of The Rock's theme song, my personal favorite is the 2nd version, that Rock briefly only used from August to October 1998. It in my opinion was his best theme, because personally I felt the one that came after regressed than progressed, but his 5th theme song it picks back up, but never to the degree that 2nd one did where he was just laying in the insults.

@@vh9network my personal favorite was the one time version he used when he came back to help Mick Foley against Evolution and it just says IF YA SMELLLLLLLL and then goes into the theme song that one was lit. I never the Rock run so fast lol

Crazy how the rock is the only one who kept this theme and even evolved it to the final boss theme that it is today but this by far was always the best version of nod themes

This was peak Rock in my opinion. Yea he went on to bigger and better, but for my money this version of the rock and maybe up to late 99 early 00 was his best.

Yup he was less scripted and was more edgy. When he came back in 01-02 he was heavily scripted and his character became stale.
