Actually , there are two Cups in Spain. The Chalice of the Apostles or St Peter is in the cathedral of Valencia. The Cup of Christ (the Holy Grail) is in Saint Isidoro of Leon.

I am not a Roman Catholic. I know that HH was raised a Roman Catholic and, as a young man, considered himself a practicing Catholic. It seemed to me that there must have been a point in his life where, as a Nazi, he crossed the line and could no longer call himself a Catholic. I wondered if he agonized over leaving his Catholic faith to embrace Nazi ideology. Then it occurred to me that some Catholics believe that if you are a Catholic then you are a Catholic until you die. To them it is the same as having a nationality. It may be that HH considered himself to be a Catholic right until his death. I find that hard to understand. If you claim to believe in certain things then you cannot believe other things. If an American says that he is a conservative Republican then he cannot be a socialist. I do not know if HH rejected his Catholicism or somehow thought that he was always a Catholic.

The ROOTS of Christianity are in Judaism. As it spread, however, for the sake of missionary success, pagan elements found their way into the religion. One of the first ones managing to incorporate the concept of Jesus being an actual (not only spiritual) son of god to make him understandable and acceptable to Greeks and Romans...so no, paganism is not the source of Christianity. But every pagan religion that has come in touch with it has changed Christianity.
