It's time for an expansion, teams in Seattle and Vegas. There's too much talent being wasted in the G-league.

Ik being a cavs fan and seeing Isah Mobley average 22 points 10 rebounds and 4 assists on 50/30/70 splits and Emoni Bates average 25 points 5 rebounds and 2 assists on 40/40/80 splits is disappointing seeing them waste their talents in the g-leauge

Really good observation. Too many young talents develope the skils for being primary option, not the complementary piece. Unless they are lucky like Trae Young, they don'tt get opportunities to showcase their best side in the stacked rotation.

Emoni a 6'9 wing that's catch and shoot. Majority of his buckets coming from high volume shooting. The less shots he get the worse he looks. So coming off the bench wouldn't help. He needs to become a better defender. And he needs to control his ego which is his worst flaw.

I read somewhere that they want him to improve his defense yes he can score but people in the NBA will bully him when he is defending. But look at Sam Merrill he is in the rotation now and has been balling and last year he was on our G League time and got minutes. As well look at Porter how many minutes he is getting yes due to injuries but still we will see him not soon cause he got suspended two games but after a possibility.

Regarding emoni bates I saw him play a couple weeks ago against the Birmingham squadron and his offensive talent is definitely there but when it comes to even contesting people driving in the lane he seems to no care or give up on it. I think the main thing he needs to focus on is his attitude towards the game both defensively and otherwise also I saw the end game stuff he didn’t go into the stands but he did yell at a Cavs fan who wanted a photo with him for having his phone out as he went into the tunnel. Not a great look but not as bad as people want to make it out to be with his history but he has to get a hold on his attitude both around the game and especially defensively

I believe the bulls hold perfect examples of how you need to play as a rookie/bench player. Guys like ayo dosunmu and dalen terry, especially ayo has carved his role into the team. All of that is due to them playing defense. Ayo is definitely talented on offense, always has, but hes now getting a consistent spot on the roster because he stepped up on defense. I hope julian Phillips keeps up his hustle that he had against the trailblazers

Being portuguese it still boggling tha Queta made it out of the G-League. Well kinda, I guess the Celtics might use him both in the NBA and the G-League. Its always a talent waste . In Portugal very few players make it out of the seccond team (for football that is); most that make it sign for a struggling team and end up making a name for 2 to 3 seasons and get respect. Still in many of those cases these players end up being signed abroad for teams they are clearly too good for. Even in sports some people must work much more than other pairs.

We should normalize people stop box score watching and asking why a guy ain’t playing. Also that just scoring points doesn’t mean shit. It’s all cute when you playing and teams don’t know you and gameplay for you. It becomes a different game when you actually have to use your brain to score rather than just “hooping” like you in a YMCA. I mean fans complain about defense and shit well then stop overhyping these dudes who only thing you look at is the scoring. Or simply put more respect on defense same as you do with offense. Guys can be defenders and learn to be good or great at offense and offensive guys can learn to be good or great defenders.
