Welcome to our first ever Fallout: New Vegas build! Roleplaying as the NCR insurgent was a fun experience. He is a flawed character, but sometimes it’s fun to explore the game with a different lens. This is one of the things that make New Vegas the greatest RPG ever made. Humanity, and all its flaws, is so beautifully explored in this conflict over Vegas. We hope you enjoy our latest build video!

Quick Note: It's been pointed out that the Bozar kinda sucks. I mainly picked it just because it looks cool and it has a scope, but the Survivalist rifle in Honest Hearts DLC is the better choice. If I were to go back and re-do this build I would have stuck with that one. Thanks for watching!

The character motivation, and personal philosophy feels more thoughtful in this build. I don't know if that was intentional.

I didn't think Builds could get any better, but once again you guys prove me wrong! This Build is amazing, and I now I can't wait to see more New Vegas Builds. I only played Fallout 3 and 4 for the longest time, but when I got New Vegas about a month ago, I think it skyrocketed to the top of my Fallout list. It's just so insanely repayable, and with endless dialogue and role-play choices.

The nostalgia was strong with this one. Before Skyrim SE I went through many NV characters from each faction and this game definitely has a special place for me. Was an absolute pleasure to watch this. Great job, as always.

I know this video obviously wasn't as popular as your skyrim builds, but I hope you'll create a few more NV builds. Skyrim's open endedness makes for near unlimited roleplay options but New Vegas's focus really allows for some much more in depth role plays. Btw I hope you do someone who sides with the legion. I've never managed to justify it in a roleplay before and I'm keen to play legion secret agent. I just struggle to see why a character not born in Arizona would join them.

Just got New Vegas a week ago for the first time. Haven't been able to stick to a character for more than an hour before wanting to restart.This backstory and the cool roleplay details have me really hyped to stick to this one. Very big Thank you for this idea

Thanks, It took me a while to come up with a format that shows both stats and perks together in a way that's easy to follow. the Fo3/NV generation perks are a bit clunky to plan around

If you go to the Skyforge website that creates Builds, you can go to the Fallout Build Corner and find their first build. They released it there first to test it out. You have to be signed in to the Skyforge to access the Fallout Build Corner though, so you may have to quickly create an account.

Just found out you had a Fallout build. Sweet! Would love to see you explore this franchise more; the guys over at Fudgemuppet have steered away from Fallout as of late, so there really isn't much in the way of high quality Fallout builds being put out there anymore (that I'm aware of, anyway). How about a "Wasteland Samurai" build? I've tried, but I can never settle on an aesthetic that would do such a concept justice. Food for thought.

Great video ! Personally i can't get into the Fallout universe (I just played Fallout 4 and New Vegas a little bit but i did nothing good instead of really played the game) but your video really give me the envy to give a second chance to this franchise ! As a big fan of police and gangsters movies i'm excited to see what builds you can make around those themes ^^.

Hello! Congratulations for the second time on making a character in Fallout New Vegas. You inspired me to go back to Skyrim and now I know if I go back to new vegas, my pc can only one. Do you guys take build ideas/suggestions from viewers? If so, I'd like to see how you guys would put together a Harbinger character of the Companions. I'm already working on a character who's actually a Dunmer but has a lot of Nordic beliefs and lives life like she's a Nord, but I'd like to see how you guys would make your harbinger.

I wish I could watch the whole video but as soon as I hear the words "Lonesome Road" or "Dead Money" I have to dip, as I actually never started either of those. I have Chronic Restartitis and yes, it is terminal (for my save files). But gosh the idea of an anarchist zealot is so fucking raw, I've been tossing that character in my head as a story idea FOR YEARS but never actually put it to paper. The gunslinger priest is my favorite character trope and this is such a great take on that.

Man I'm the same way. It's especially bad with fallout games for some reason. I have hundreds of hours on New Vegas, but have only ever seen ending cinematics a couple times.

We just used interior lighting overhaul, strip/freeside open, and dynavision for a couple camera effects.

You guys should use the Jagged Crown in one of your builds, I know it’s a glitch and your not meant to be able to get it but you could say that the character made a duplicate or illusion and gave the real one to Ralof or Hadvar to hold onto for you, then you went to Ulfric or Tullius and gave them the fake. If you don’t know what the glitch is, you reverse pickpocket the Jagged Crown onto Ralof or Hadvar straight after you get it, (you have to have gone with them at the beginning) then you go to Windhelm or Solitude and say you have the crown, then go find Ralof or Hadvar in Riverwood and you pickpocket the crown off of them.

I’ve realized that this ex-NCR insurgent is a Yes man build but can be modified for NCR,Legion, and Mr House playthroughs as well. Could you do some builds for Mr House, the NCR and a unique original Legion build that isn’t Centurion?

Probably not. I've really tried to get into oblivion, and have done two playthroughs.... but it just feels so old. The fallout3/new vegas generation of games are the oldest that still feel playable to us.

I'm curious with this build being "an anarchist type" how would he handle the quests leading up to the strip? Does he side with powders, does he complete come fly with me, does he help boone seeing as he's anti ncr

I could see him avoiding the Goodsprings/Powder Ganger feud, doing the other Powder Ganger related quests later on when he's more openly hostile toward the NCR. Also early on he could use Boone for a stint as a fellow Legion hunter to quickly get to his personal quest and make him very resentful toward the NCR for what happened at Bitter Springs.
