Yes I had neons in my first tank; also tiger barbs, black skirts, a betta and an albino cory cat. We lived in San Francisco so they got fresh live brine shrimp as well as tetra min flakes. The olden days. I think the filter had spun glass floss.

Some Ludwigia Palustris would have been great in this scape. Ans i think there are too many different types of foreground plants but still a nice tank good job

I tried not using aquasoil for my latest setup, I used some really nasty coarse gravrl (full of nutrients) from the previous setup, put root tabs on top and then topped off with very fine gravel. It seems to be working very well the plants love it. But in hindsight I should have put the coarse gravel in mesh bags because it gets to the surface when my ADHD bristlenose starts rearranging things 😑

Hey MD!, I had 8 cherry barbs in my fish tank, about a week ago they all died to multiple diseases. I 100% believe it was the second group I got because they were in a glo tank and in a brown bag so I couldn’t check for diseases. Could you mabye in the future make a small tank dedicated to cherry barbs? Btw I love this channel😀
