Walking into Pangot is like stepping into a fairytale village. Tucked away within the Kumaon hills, with magical forests echoing the songs of hundreds of colourful birds and little trails that disappear into sunlit glades, that’s Pangot for you. A birdwatcher’s paradise, Pangot is 15 kms from Nainital and the drive is through the bird habitats of Cheena Peak range forests via Snow View Point and Kilbury. Numerous bird species have been recorded at Pangot and its surrounding areas. Life in Pangot is so quiet and unhurried that the most exciting activity is a trip to the small, quaint village market. The tea stalls where villagers meet up are a good place to catch up with local life and spend hours doing nothing but being an observer of ‘life passing by.

I have stayed there as well, almost a decade ago. wonderful time spent the 3 days we stayed vacationed. Wish I had the foresight to buy some small piece of land there. 🙂 Don't even know if residents of other states can buy it though....

I have seen your tehri vlog and I visited there with my family 👪 and I stayed at both places Hotel Le Roy and Eco Huts 🛖 both places are amazing and you were right Le Roy food was so delicious 😋 thanks for these beautiful places, I will try pangot also 😊

Hello Sapna. Pangoot is indeed a beautiful place that one can visit throughout the year. I avoid Pangoot during rainy season because of the leech menace.. they crawl all over you while you are walking in the rain

Great location 🎉, your vlogs are always interesting and guide travellers in very nice way, already covered Kanatal and Kasauli after watching your videos, although Kasauli was never in my list but had 2 days free time so decided to explore that too, had heard about Pangot but now hopefully very soon will cover this location too ….

Hello ji good afternoon. I am rohini raj from chennai. Mei aur meri family ek short visit plan kar rahe the yahi within Tamilnadu. kodaikanal select hua. Automatically mei ne OTA expert mei dhund rahi thi suggestions ke liye. Phir realise hua aap ne South ke taraf koi bhi videos nahi banayi. Aisa kyu..... Yaha pe bhi bahut acchi acchi scenic beauty hai. Gharmi avashya hai but still acchi jaga yeh hai. Of course uttarakhand aur Himachal jaise toh nahi hoga but yaha phe bhi prakratik sundartah mil ja ye gi aap ko. Yes language ek problem hogi but i am sure aap log usko bhi manage kar loge. So please South mei bhi aap ka rukh modiyega huzoor. Thank you
