My honest opinion is because of their name bothe have the "e" in the beginning of their name and Leeteuk is easier to say vs Eunhyuk.

They have some similar features, understandable. I wouldn't say they look similar, but for someone who isn't familiar with them it could be hard. For those who are actually familiar with them it's probably just a matter of accidentally saying the wrong name since their names are sort of similar.
