I received my 3 mags yesterday and I really like them. I did notice that the overall height was shorter than the 15 round. That means better concealment with two extra rounds and only 3 mags to carry a full box of ammo.

Swapped out one mag's spring with mag guts making one of my 12rds a 14rd, and recently ordered this 17rd. That means loading less often at the range which equals more time shootin'. Man I love America. If only we didn't have crazies getting access to guns ruining it for us responsible owners who enjoy such a fun hobby. Thanks for the video. I pocket carry my P365 with the flat 10rd mag; it sure is nice to have a 17rd mag for my reload!. With a chambered round, that's 28 shots on hand!!

Just put this on my p365 because I could only find the 15rd in coyote. Needless to say I’m glad I could never find a black one lol. Makes it pretty much full size

Just got a battle belt, need to get mag pouches and was thinking of upgrading the mag, sig gave me 2 12rds with the 365XL and I needed this vid to see if it'd fit. This will prob be my next upcoming purchase

If their new 17 isnt much longer than their 12 round mag, this show that with the new spring design the 12 could hold more. Magguts has a spring and follower that makes the 12 a 14 without extension!

Sig should have made the adapter more rounded on back of grip for using with 365 X.

XTech Tactical makes great mag extensions for the p365.

Interesting to see the size comparison b/t 15 round and 17 round being nearly the same footprint. Seems like Sig is discontinuing the 15 round mag as it is harder to find online and no longer on their main website.

Am I the only guy who says the 17 is hideous? That bevel and forward angle is aesthetically ridiculous. The baseplates of the 15 allow the mag to sit upright, for one, and the gradual rake of the magazine doesn’t produce quite a profound edge in your cover garment. From an engineering perspective, the 17rd is fantastic. From an aesthetic perspective, it’s a total blunder. I’ll take the 15rd baseplate any and every day

Now they just need to make a carbine conversion kit for the “just because we can” guys like myself. The irony of converting a compact pistol into a long gun makes it worth it alone.

Disagree on the 17rnd being a better shape/design than the 15rnd. They shortened the front of the magazine and removed the texturing there, the part that actually helps with your support hand grip. They also made the back longer and a more pointed angle, the part that prints. Ergonomically they made the magazine worse for those reasons. Best thing about the new mag is being able to take mag extensions now.

Do these magazines rattle at all? My 15rd magazines rattle like crazy

I think both manufacturers took the orange follower from Magpul and their aftermarket glock mags. Nice! My XL will be getting these soon!

2 more rounds is great but def disagree on the looks department The angle of the 15+1 matching the magwell as opposing is much more pleasing to the eye

I’ve had some problems with my 17 round mag jamming with my P365. I wonder if anyone else has the same issues. Everything works fine with my 12 & 15 round mags.

Bought two OEM from Sig. I was able to load one with 17 rounds, but just barely. Very tight... too tight to trust. The second mag I was unable to load 17 rounds. Not because the spring wasn't "broken in" yet, but because I could hardly get 16 rounds in that one. Once loaded with 16, I can't push down on 16 at all in order to make room for a seventeenth (yes, I'm using a speedloader). I'll let them both sit awhile and see if the springs find their happy places, but for now I'd have to say don't bother buying this mag unless you're ok buying a 16 rounder... 'cuz' a 17 rounder she ain't!

Do those baseplates come with the mags from sig or need bought separate

Just got mine today. Not sure if the spring needs to be broken in, but I can't release my slide from locked back position when the 17 round mag is inserted into my 365x. Anyone else have this problem??

Mine can only stand 16 smh. If I load 17 you are unable to rack the slide.

Sig makes the worst base plate sleeves than any other gun manufactures, you want good sleeves or base plates, the only one who knows how to make them is tactical dev. Been hoping sig would make the regular p365 module with the 12-rd. sleeve added to the module to get rid of the sleeve, but they refuse to do it, wish they would make a sig p365x module without the flared magwell, because pinky extensions and the 15 rd. magazine sleeves don't fit well on the flared magwell, but they refuse to do that. If sig wants to make larger magazines, they should make larger grip modules because their sleeves and base plates don't fit well. Especially the modules with flared magwells

Anyone else wish the 17rnd mags had the same square bottom as the 15’s do? The new slant bottoms don’t look right…
