My God Vicki looks absolutely the same as in the first episodes of Fifth Gear. Time hasn't passed

Huge fan of Vicki since the days of the Fifth Gear and good to see her back ( and Jonny of course ! ). Will there be Tiff and Jason too? Miss those days with the 'Fab Four'

I loved my Countryman so much I'm getting another one, I've had four mini's now, and my ultimate goal is a Countryman JC Works. 🤩

A mini dealer told me that if everything inside the new mini was removed you can fit the original mini inside it!!

Bought the old model new just before this was launched Thank God ! No Mini you have lost the plot sorry!

I'm a guy and I never really liked the Mini but I'm loving the look of this new Countryman. It looks really classy.

Great review but the car isn't for me. I can cope with the fact it's no longer a mini but there are way too many gimmicks. The central toggle switches that control the 'emotions' or 'moods' or whatever, is just about as bad as it gets in driver inconvenience. Tosh like that should be relegated to a sub menu on the screen where hopefully it can never see the light of day. Toggle switches should be given something to do which might actually make driving easier and safer like HVAC control. Please please please car companies, stop treating your customers as 5 year olds with ADHD and prioritise function and form to lead your design choices, not kindergarten graphics and how many colours the interior lights can display.

Hey Vicki Brilliant Review............The new Mini Countryman looks like it's come from Land of the GIANT'S Think it looks good and really like the interior. Best bit When you said "Hey Mini" and that little dog 🐶 appears.

I cancelled my test drive date after viewing the interior with the textile dash, and experiencing the laggy performance of the screen. Also hiding basic functions into a 3 step screen operation - after creating “short cuts” - was a deal killer for me. I stay with my Mini Countryman JCW 2020 until something better comes up. But not this half baked product.

Love it, great to see the evolution of design and tech.

It’s hardly a mini far too big. Have had mini coopers for many years. The joy of a mini is that they are small and compact

I wonder what Vicky would prefer (driving away with) doing a comparison test with this and new (2024) BMW X1 (X-Line vs Cooper-S) or (X1 M vs JCW) for spec, interior & style ~ both having the same chassis ! 🚙

Vicki - my wife drove a Countryman as a rental car and really liked it EXCEPT for the seats. We both found them to be uncomfortable- mainly the back cushion and they way it was curved. We would likely have been interested in getting one if the seats had been comfortable. Do you find the seats to be the same in the Clubman as they are in the Countryman?

The door handles remind me of those in the Nissan 350z

Its a good looking car from the outside but the interior is just awful especially the large round infotainment system. Plus not having a Manuel version is a oversight in my view

Always nice to see you review a car, I personally think like a lot of new BMW,s they are ugly.

Quite too high tech,but most cars are going in that direction ,the latest 15 most unreliable cars English made cars came 3 and 4, Subaru and Toyota were number 1 and 2,not as fancy as the Mini,but I live in Australia and prefer function over reliability over flash.

It will need major repairs just outside of warranty made to fail

Get rid of the gimmicks, the cartoon character and concentrate on a decent looking car! I owned the second generation MINI Countryman Cooper S for four years, 2017 - 202, that was a good car!

This is growing on me, however, they missed a trick by not making a manual version 😢

It’s 4.4m long and 2m wide so about the same size as a Range Rover Evoque. It really should be called the Maxi.

My experience would have been enhanced if Vikki had also shown us the rear passenger seats, and leg room for it. Just saying. Otherwise an interesting experience in the latest mini countryman. 👍

NOOOOOOOOO !! I took issue with the first reborn Mini, joking that you could use it to encase a Mini 😳 Successive versions have grown, bigger, bigger and uglier……… this one is a monstrosity !! The scale, the proportions, the shape……… the stupidly large screen, distracting you from “the Screen”……… the one you SHOULD be looking through. Shameless marketing bauble for the hard of thinking, albeit, wealthy as well. Staggering to see a Mini on 20” wheels, when the original had 10” wheels……. VBH - stunning as ever, natural and fizzing in front of a camera - don’t stop 🥳🇬🇧🏁

I’ve had 4 countryman’s over the years but this one is a bit Fiat 500L. So I’ve decided to make a change and gone for the Jaguar e Pace. Sorry BMW.

I so wish they had gotten rid of the C-pillar thingy, and while at it also the circular display. I mean, outside it would look so much better! And on the inside, right now I think it looks like a car designed to be driven by women. Which is a shame, limiting the audience :)

The original mini was a practical thoughtful brilliant idea. It was tiny, cheap, cheerful and spartan. This is a pointless styling exercise designed to appeal to nostalgia. The original mini was a brand new concept This is a mish mash, as big as a series 2 Land Rover and way too expensive.

Should if called these midis . Only true mini is the gen 1 r53 ( supercharged) the rest do t feel like minis. Also the range is like 80 miles in reality on the electrics. Wouldn't waste your time
