Feels nice to have the GOL back in the series once again, used to be my go-to sniper - good on you for getting a video out so quickly on the new update!

These map reworks don't do enough. Recently downloaded BFV again and those maps feel like real places. It's not just the cover density, it actually feels like I'm fighting over a real place. There needs to be more POIs between flags that feel like real places..

It's so common to see Stod hitting these types of shots but I'm always in awe of the speed and efficiency of your killstreaks, with such ease as well. Great video as always.

That WD black sn850 is what i use in my rig for over a year now. Whether you use ps5 or pc i highly recommend it also!

Man I swear I never end up in a server where enemies seem to sit still. In mine they're just constantly moving so shots miss them by a whisper. Of course, they'll still be moving around when they fire back and have zero accuracy loss.

Straight up the WD Black line is incredible I recently swapped my pc to 2 2tb ssd 2.5 SATA ssd, 2 5tb 2.5 SATA HDD, 2 2tb m.2 ssd and added two external 5tb hdd's. I need a ridiculous amount of space as I am a full time video editor that's why all the storage. The ssd's are incredible for gaming though and I was full prior to the swap 10/10 recommend them.

I would also like to see the Type 88 return from BFBC2, would be a great marksman rifle to fit in with the existing guns.

Just the feeling of the weapons is what makes BF so great. I tried every weapon in BF4 and you get so much variety

The renewed renewal is quite a good map now, it also wasn't the worst of the bf 2042 maps to begin with. The mouse input fix made a huge difference on my gameplay, my infantry combat was so bad I almost exclusively played with vehicles, but now I can actually mean something as an infantryman 👌

I gotta say, it does feel snappier, much better. If only the October event dropped Metro+Locker.

This is the only reason I watch @stodeh for sniper gameplay, unreal shots as always 😳

The faster ADS and extra 5 rounds per minute over the AWS made that my new go to sniper... the DXR still rechambers fastest but it feels heavy in comparison

anybody noticed that hey reworked the headshotsound?

I usually have a hard time sniping and getting headshots. Not sure if it's because I'm on console or if I'm just not good at it, but seeing Stodeh making heads roll keeps me wanting to try.

That ssd for ps5 is so crazy man I bought a 2TB variant and switching games take about 30 secs and the best thing is you can easily install 20+ games on the ssd while having the internal storage completely unused it‘s just mindblowing comparing it to the ps4

I need HELP! I am pretty sure im on total ULTRA settings mode, there must be a couple settings that is making my graphics feel slightly blurry in a way. Not to affect my gameplay too much, but enough for me to notice it. Does anyone know what settings it must be that is making edges of every object obsurred in some way? I want my game to look like this. PS, on ULTRA I am well over 100 frames while using the "Ultra performance" setting, and if I am going below that I can tell it drops a little.

My mouse input got totally worse it feels like im playing with a joystick. Anyone know how to fix? Im on 1000hz report rate and 500 makes it better. This is only after this patch. What did they screw over?

The GOL is the first sniper rifle in BF2042 I can actually hit something with. The bullet velocity feels way faster, I don‘t know. I wish it had a tier 1 skin though.

Has anyone found any problems at all trying to launch 2042 ? i keep having problems that causes me to not be able to launch the game, whenever i click play on steam it says "play > running > stop > play" and then goes onto Origin and displays nothing on the page but "Well that didn't go as planned, please try reloading, if that doesn't work restart the client or check back later" I've had this problem for over a week now. It does this on repeat, i've tried literally everything there is to try, i've re installed the entire game and Origin and done a complete Clean Boot of my PC, ran it all as Administrator on Origin and the 2042 exe files, as far as i'm aware i've done literally everything it says on the EA help page but to no avail. I know some other people had some problems like this but i think mine is the worst yet, I literally cannot get anything for this damned game to work lol. has anyone experienced this problem and if so could you please point me inn the right direction maybe ? Or am i fucked lol

They need to add scope glint as an attachment or a gadget.

You use equipment and gadgets and everything is fine for you at the zoom level, me on my side as soon as I switch to my secondary weapon, whether I use a gadget or equipment the x6 and x12 sights zoom me in x0. Incomprehensible that you don't have this problem when all the people on the forums have it... how do you explain it?

I cannot use the sws, the velocity feels sooo low compared to the other snipers. Ill fire and by the time the bullet makes its way there people move. The dxr 1 is my personal fav.

I’m enjoying it but have only been able to unlock the 1911. Kind of disappointed the requirements to unlock the p90 and Gol are higher level unlocks. It makes it harder new players like me to reach. Mouse latency is absolutely better and I’ve also noticed a decrease in stuttering when firing fully automatic.

Cheers stod, might check it this weekend. That said.. engagement based design, I won't be able to unlock much over a single weekend unless I bore myself to sleep on ai maps. Might just play Polygon instead

Im getting huge performance drops recently; average FPS supposedly 100ish on Low 1440p but with constant drops to under 20, its awful. Running i7 12th gen and 3070Ti, its mad. Dont have issues with other games.

great up date games gett better but still needs more old maps new maps and a good map rotation

why is the gol so good? Even in portal I would always go off with it before the update. The sws and drx1 just don't feel as good and idk what it is.

Finally… more than like 12 guns. If new maps are added (hopefully ones that feel like BF4 and BF1 maps in atmosphere and functionality) I’ll be willing to give 2042 another try. I will admit the graphics are awesome for me (3090 and 4K 120hz TV) and if they can somewhat replicate the BF4 feeling I’ll come back and hopefully enjoy it. Glad they addressed mouse input, 2042 felt off to me control wise.

I liked bf1 certain snipers had a 1 hit kill range and also the massive exp for long range headshot

And still no thermal scope for all the smoke 😭
