We have been extremely fortunate to have been offered the chance by #baileyofbristol to be the first to take out the new #alicantogrande Porto on loan for the week. This worked perfectly for us as we already had a week away booked In North Yorkshire for Vicky’s birthday!
In this vlog, we discuss how we got on living In the van and some of the things we absolutely love about It!

Yeah it’s an awesome combo, the pickup didn’t really feel any different than it does with our van 👍

Great Part 1, a honest down to earth appraisal of the van. The layout, mid washroom, is the one we would go for if we change our van. I like the LED lighting, great for a bit of ambiance! Glad you enjoyed the layout, I know we have discussed it many times before. I noticed the window behind Vicky a lot, it reminds me of a plane window with the plastic surround, not sure I like that. Will have to go and have a look at one in person...one day. Looking forward to Part 2

Thanks mate really appreciate your comments and the help and advice you gave me before. You’re right about the window yes, can’t work out whether it’s just too much plastic around the front windows 👍

good review guys love that front window and lighting , we had single beds in the bolero , and to be fair i’d be in a separate room if i could let alone a single bed , the further apart the better 😂😂 , see you in may 👍 mike

Aaron & Vicky thanks for sharing I saw the van at NEC and it is lovely. I like the parallel sofas and the fact they are sprung. ( My 2009 Charisma has sprung upholstery, an entry caravan in its day, what happened?) I’d love it with French bed and end washroom. Hope you get one. 😁

Hey pal, yes I don’t get why sprung sofas are not standard, it’s frustrating! Thanks for watching mate, we’ve looked at getting one but decided to stick with ours 👍

I do love the throw lockers from outside as dragging outdoor chairs throw the old layout was a pain I will do a full video review when I get mine Wi-Fi should be good…

Yes that was a really good design point. There was so much we wanted to discuss but could only get so much into the videos without boring everyone too much 🤣

It is a lovely van, went in it at the NEC. I personally love those coloured leds, stop on. Yeah our swift has the door that closes off the bathroom. I know what you mean, but we like the fact that we can close the bedroom / bathroom off. Horses for courses, either would work for me TBH....Ooo the elephant in the room aye... I won't guess, it might spoil it.. :-) Oh for god sake, everything you two review, you end up buying :-) You'll be getting calls from Swift, Adria and Coachman next! haha

🤣🤣 we did look into buying one but have decided to keep ours at the moment mate. Yes I guess all the layouts with the door in the middle have their pros and cons, like everything when it comes to caravans. It was a cracking van though and we loved using it (apart from them blinds 🙄) cheers for watching mate

I had a new Porto last year for 6 months, On the 5th off may I should get my new 2022 Porto I not sure yet but I think I might like the old bathroom layout better as it seams bigger also I’m not 100% sure about a king size bed as it loses 4” off leg room and how did you get on with wardrobes hanging over your heads in bed I think I may also miss the normal draws and cupboards next to bed rather than lift up things I still think it’s the best caravan on the market Money can buy without question… so looking forward to getting it

You are sooo lucky! We so wish we were getting one! We haven’t seen the old version so didn’t really have much to compare it with but really loved the bed and bedroom area. We loved the lift up cupboards as it kept things out the way 👍
