Ughh noooo… don’t make Red Hood a full blown Hero. He is literally the Anti-thesis of a Hero and demonstration of why being a Hero is a flaw. It’s like making the Punisher PG as possible.

They made him a hero? Like an actual hero? Red Hood? Are we talking about the same person? But speaking for realsies, I just don't see him ever being an actual hero. I loved him quite a lot when he was this vigilante/anti-hero with his own method of dealing with villains, small or big. I mean, I hope they at least made his transition into one believable ://

I'm fine with character development so long as it actually makes sense for the character to go that route. Jason has gone through so much trauma and experienced so much injustice at the hands of Batman's moral code, why in the hell would he become a genuine hero?

The player also sucks a lot of ass, he missed a lot of counters and the gameplay was probably captured in a last gen console causing all chunky looks which also explains why they canceled the last gen console release of the game

The fact that free transmog isn't present in every PvE game with cosmetic-based stats is moronic. It actively hinders creativity for no reason. It's more understandable for games with PvP, since you need to be able to tell what your opponent is wearing at a glance, but it's just unacceptable for games with no form of PvP.

The dev probably played Lego Batman and took all the bad attributes from that game

yeah i mean ui like hollow knight where you literally have everything in one place but it has personallity showing the masks you collected and a fluid animation as your "mana" basically. that's what im missing. stuff from the game integrated in the ui.

I personally really like Metro 2033 and how it uses the clock on your wrist to display the actual time. Just a nice little gimmick.

It's not exactly uncommon for Jason to switch to non-lethal when he's working close with the family. I also don't completely mind the bulkiness too much since Jason has always been the biggest member of the Bat-Family

@@marbl3d45 I preordered this shit. 100+ hours on Steam, completed every side mission, every gig, got every tarot card and all endings. And with that I can absolutely say that Cyperpunk is just mediocre. A shitload of false promises, boring gunfights, awful balance (two hitting the final boss on your first playthrough is not fucking normal), unbearable driving and a great soundtrack (the only good thing about the game) I can tell that you are trying to defend a shitty game developing company that literally scammed it's fans.

Destiny 2 has a similar thing with its ornament system where you can unlock armor sets to overlay your current armor look and keep the higher stats

It also had an incredible cast. Conroy's Batman, Hamill's Joker, Strong's Harley Quinn, even some other ones like Wally Wingert as the Riddler

I definitely agree. I got Lego DC Super Villains on sale on switch because I am a big DC fan. I had not played a lego game for almost over a decade on my dsi at that point, so I was not expecting much. It ended up being a pretty enjoyable experience though.

What I think it is is we're all probably around the same age as pyro and started watching him at the beginning, and he evolved as we did. And instead of trying to keep content for that age group, he allowed himself to do what he wants, so he keeps the same people around.

Playtestings still a big thing, more companies just make you sign ndas beforehand now tho.

they said the same thing about Spiderman copying the Arkham series before it came out. They're practically the same genre so it's not surprising they have similarities. If you mean the animations, nightwings a gymnast and Spiderman's fighting is based on gymnastics, so they're bound to look similar.

Imo the demonstrator ruined the look of the combat by playing weird. But red hoods jump is weird fr, I'm probably just gonna avoid using it altogether.

In the Arkham games you had to unlock the Freeflow mechanic that makes you lock on. Maybe it's toned down at first and you unlock the expert level later on.

I keep seeing people comparing this to avengers and it's starting to get a little dumb. This game shares no similarities with marvels avengers failures, and if it does I'd be happy to hear one. Could you clarify what the "mistake" they're making is? Btw not tryna be hostile just tryna understand

@@captainherpeto5482 I think because of the rpg elements like the crafting table for example. And there hasn't been any indication yet, but I fear it's not going to be as open world as Arkham Knight and more like Avengers, only able to explore on mission sites and stuff. That would be horrible. Also, the grind. I don't want to spend decades farming in order to get over the next mission. Arkham did right about how to give you side-stort content through the bonus missions and I hope Knights does it too because in Avengers the side-missions... I remember they were a waste of time.

@@captainherpeto5482 the "go to this area, beat up bad guys, get gear with better numbers tied to your cosmetic appearance" is pretty indicative of another "looter-shooter" type superhero game, the mistake i reference. its the way the gameplay is framed and plays out that makes it look like another sqaure enix avengers. im cautiously optimistic

@@ashininethat's a very valid criticism but part of avengers failure was that the gear didn't include a cosmetic change so it felt like just numbers that you barely noticed, but being able to mix up cosmetics with different gear in this game sounds cool as long as it's executed right imo. I'm starting to see what you mean by framed like a square enix game though, they really got some things they need to refine before the game comes out to avoid going down that road.
