The new Benny Greb Signature Snare Drums by Sonor

4 жыл бұрынSo excited to finally reveal what i´ve been working on with Sonor.
there is the 13x5,75" wood drum ( basically an update / upgrade from the original one)
- bubinga inlay
- dual glide snare strainers
- vintage lugs
- 2 newly developed internal dampener called " Monorail Dampener"
and
the all new 13" x 5,75" Brass model
these snares are absolutely incredible and something i am truly proud of and grateful for.

Literally the best drum ad I've ever seen. Even without the cool fx at 30s and the genuinely funny gag at the end, showcasing the sheer variety like this is SO GOOD!

internal mufflers are terrible; they work against the natural movement of the head and choke the drum. the first thing we did with older snares is remove them. hard for me to believe they actually put two on this drum - a showstopper for me.

@@edkriegedrumming That had more to do with ratlte and poor build. I don't expect to see this with these new drums.

Genuinely the best drum product ad I've seen, brilliant shots and sound, shows the versatility and the brilliant new innovation of the internal dampeners and its funny. Might be the first ad to convince me to buy straight away. Possibly even both the wood and brass versions :')

This is just another example of the musical nature of Benny Greb. If something doesn't make the sound he wants, he'll just figure out a way to make it that way. A true innovator and musician!! I'm very much looking forward to checking these drums out.

One of the must remarkable thing of your snares is you never hear a overtone with any tune !!! Oh God if I could have one !!! What a workaholic you are also definitely one of the greatest for sure !!! We miss you in Argentina !!!

The brass one has the cut for live. Beech for the studio imo. But both can do either.
