There was a small typo with the second set of gear where I swapped the talented for not talented! The stats shown for the KvK sets are correct just the words are swapped.

Again another well thought out, informative, accurate video. The one bit I will mention is the new(er) game dynamic of the tier system lends to crafting multiple types of equipment vs always going for the best in slot at all times. Unit Capacity(III) and most of the IV tier(exception being gloves) levels bring a new dimension that shouldn't be overlooked. I would also shy away from specializing the leadership pieces into archer as there still seems a strong push to make leadership more relevant and would recommend at least prioritizing the iconic tier on the legs before the specialization. It becomes a bit of a balance between materials and patterns.

Right now I am in the middle of preparing to craft a full set. Been planning on doing a 4-piece dragon's breath w/ 2-piece leadership, then swap in the KvK pieces once I can get ahold of them. Probably not AS optimal as waiting, but as an Archer main who got hella lucky with a crit on a Milky Way I can just improve my second archer march's gear.

I definitely agree on all of the things that was stated. One thing that I would really recommend for f2p players amongst the 3 crystal key equipments. Is the milky way. It is actually worth the investment especially when looking at the f2p perspective since getting blueprints for the dragon's breath set is really not easy. Especially when you started accounting for upgrading it to Iconic. Milky way is one of the most accessible yet fairly worth of an investment in comparison to the other 2 crystal key equipments that were mentioned. Trust. It. Is worth the investment when it comes down to upgrading it to Iconic for easy blueprint.

Sometimes it is not that easy to figure out which piece one wants next. In my case, I am not sure which piece to craft next. Hence, I flipped the question around: which piece do I least want: That is actually much easier to answer. I swear I do not want to have the DB gloves. It suxors bad. It has attack as the stats, it has iconic attack basis points, and the set effect is again, 3% attack. All around that is a suxor piece. That is where I am now:ie. I know what I don't want. So, I have not decided if I want the leadership gloves or the leadership boots. (I already have the leadership pants). The issue with the boots is that the flame boots gives 7.5% health, while the leadership boots is 6% health (with a 3 basis points of iconic health). Not 100% convinced that leadership boots is that much better than the flame boots. So, that is the reason I am considering the leadership gloves. Again, it's not that the leadership gloves is an ideal piece in this scenario, but nothing is ideal in the archer gearing combos. LOL. Literally nothing is ideal in the archer gearing.

Love your vids. I would have liked to see the stats on the crystal key pieces for base line standards. And also if you were crazy enough to do this, how would the improvement in base stats compare against epic pieces stats.

Oh man, I do like the videos and watch them all. One thing though, while I am crafting the 2/2/2 set for garrisons where you definitely want more durability. But, attack stats shouldn’t be over looked on rallies or field fighting. Sure archers are all kind of squishy so it would be nice to tank them up a bit with more health stats, attack is the stat that drives what archers do well… Massive skill damage. Lower attack equals lower skill damage sure you gotta babysit your marches more and you gotta get field to rally well, but if you don’t wanna play with skill go infantry with the other lazy kids. 😂

Curious how the 2 kvk, 2 Glorious Goddess, and Milky Way with Ian's Choice would perform and exact stat distribution, I feel like losing the 3% attack from 2 pc DB wouldn't be as big of a "loss" compared with the extra health from Milky Way

I want to get the leadership equipment but am just not sure if i crit it do i go archers of leadership for hera on garrison or trajan for field any thoughts.

my biggest regret with equipment was not sincerely related to archer pieces but more related to accessories, forging unimportant pieces like greatest glory, seths call, pendant, coin, vengeance.

i got milkyway very early on but with lucky crit ..... thought of it as an early game mistake but now not so much as best equipment isn,t a full archer set annymore ..... so i got the leadersahip pants boots .... and ians choice also crit ...... and i got like 4 blueprints of milkyway and ians choice ....... just need the kvk helm and weapon

hello Archer Syndicate, I would like to know what you think about this 222 variant. Using: 2 kvk pieces, Leadership legs and gloves, Milky Way, Epic boots. In total I have 76.5% stats: Atk 15% Def 34% Hea 27.5%

I am reallly waiting and waiting before I absolutely have to craft the boots or the gloves before I craft either of those. The flame boots is so good that leadership boots adds very little. The DB gloves is suxors. So, more than likely I will eventually end up with leadership boots and leadership gloves, but I am not sure. I have the leadership pants. So, if I add one more piece, I will get the 2 piece set effect for leadership (3% to defense). I don't know if I will go for 3 pieces of leadership or not. The DB stuff is just not that appealing. Even if I were to get 2 pieces of DB, the set bonus is only 3% attack. And on top of that, the DB glove is suxors. So, it is really bad. Feels not ideal any way you slice it.

I don't consider your milk way as a big regret. If you don't have the DB chest, it also means you have little reason to have the DB gloves. That is actually a good thing. It is saving you from the mistake of getting DB gloves. The DB glove, in all honesty, suxors. It gives attack, and the 2piece bonus is 3% attack, and the iconic is again +3 base attack. It suxors. So, having the milk way saves you from that bad gear, in a round about way. Better, possibly is the green gloves which is 3% or 3.5% health. Or the Leadership gloves which has defense, and iconic base defense. TLDR: DB glove suxors. Green glvoes is better, and Leaderhsip gloves (due to iconic being defense, and due to set bonus being defense). Heck: you can even do KVK helm, KVK weapon, Milkyway, Leadership gloves (which has good iconics, instead of bad the bad iconics of the dB glvoe), Leadership pants. And Keep the flame boots (which preserves the health aspect of the boots). In this configuration, your 2 piece set bonus of 3% defense comes from the leadership pants gloves. Your health comes from the milky way, and the flame boots. And that is a pretty good deal. I bet if you ran the numbers, you would find that the numbers are pretty darn good, in terms of stats and set bonuses and iconic base points. cheers.

I wouldn’t really consider crafting Milky Way to be a mistake. Once you talent it, the lost 3% attack from the Dragon’s breath set bonus becomes less meaningful, and you can craft Ian’s choice to go with it for an extra 0.5% attack more than the dragon’s breath gloves. Also much easier to get the blueprints for Milky Way and Ian’s Choice. Good video though.

Worst mistake i did: i was hoarding to craft a ring, a few days before having enough season coins to get it, i checked if i had enough materials to craft it by going on the lucky coin🤦 Was tiered and accidentally click craft instead of the cross (ps, i'm a f2p and that was before the: are you sure you want to craft it messages)

I think you’re a bit off on this brother. I use Dragon Chest and Boots for 2 piece bonus (Health on Chest and Defense on Boots) KVK Weapon and Helm (Attack+Defense) and then leadership Gloves and Pants (Health and Defense) this leaves you with the least attack stat possible and the most defense and health. I use that combo as an archer archer rally lead in our kingdom and so do our garrison leads. Zhuge Liang gives a ton of health to pure archer rally or garrison so that helps mitigate the need of only health stat in my opinon.

I prefer another version of things for the archers' commanders - these are weapons and a kvk helmet, a breastplate and boots from the dragon's breath set, pants and gloves from the leadership set

The problem of getting the kvk items means you need to make coins every single kvk to get it expertise and iconic… imagine not getting the special talent on the first try you will need around 9 blueprints after forging it per kvk item

I think a few comments said this already but if you are gonna focus on health, you might as well forget about the set bonus no? you are trading an extra 1% of health for 3% attack. Also, you can make Ians choice and gain .5% attack, so it would be a loss of 2.5% attack for 1% health. Finally, you could do leadership gloves instead and gain defense instead. would that not be the best set? milkway+ leadership gloves instead of archer set chest and gloves?

My first legendary equipment was the tassels of the war god, it was instand refined so now I have a refined equipment that is shit and completely breaks any crafting order I’m told to do 😅

When going for 2/2/2 set, wouldn't it make more sense to go for Milky way + War god tassets? You get 1% more hp at cost of 2% attack when untallented. I not sure about the talented numbers tho, if anyone has that info it would be appreciated. Also it is a lot easier to iconic and talent it.

what about a 2-1-3 including the kvk helm/weapon, milky way and 3 leadership pieces?

I know u said it in Spartans video but I forget, why do you take boots instead of gloves for the leadership 2 piece? These are based off legs, boots and gloves only (dragon breath glove) 14 HP/7.5 att or 8 HP/13.5def (dragon breath boots) edit: defense and health multiplying off each other in combat exacerbates the difference of the two choices)

I think leadership gear is not that great if you cant talent it tbh keep in mind that 100 legendary mats for basically epic tier stats if you want to do it i think thats your last upgrade if you cant do it run 4 piece set with gloves chest weapon boots and double epic set its totally fine

Doesn’t talented DB set trade better than 2/2/2? Both sets are very situational imo, as an archer you always should try to avoid getting targeted. When you side hit or third party you trade much better with DB set rather than 2/2/2. But 2/2/2 is trading a lot better in situations when you get hit
