MMP has two wands I believe and they work the same as staffs. I imagine once u11 makes a full release the modders’ll make it compatible.

I feel like wands should only make certain types of spells stronger by a bit because I don't want to have to hold a wand to use magic. But yes I agree with you I think we need a bigger variety of enemies that are not all humanoid.

This puts the "Sorcery" back in "Blade & Sorcery" Focusing more on magic rather than just a bunch of cool weapons and a somewhat lackluster magic system.

I'm only a nomad player, all this stuff for the original not coming to nomad recently doesn't seem fun. But they did say they will bring all the content to nomad in a way, so I'm not worried.

That’s why most of the time I try to avoid the reveal videos so I can find out most of this stuff first hand. Really brings out the genuine experience that most games can’t anymore

U can also cast the lightning with the lighting staff as well as grab stuff with the gravity staff

I was trying all the buttons and for some reason I just couldn’t get the staff casts to work. I’ll try it again the next time I run it up

@@AwakenToast the lightning staff needs the spell select button to be held while you are moving the staff around and the grav staff needs to be pointed at a moveable object

The fact that you can grab their mouths now opens up a whole opportunity for stealth in dungeons, that’s why it is my favorite mechanic in the new beta

With the lightning staff you can hold down your spell button and its makes a lighting whip the can dismember enemies, and with the fire staff you have to actually thrust it for the fireballs to come out instead of pressing a button :D

You can grab objects with the gravity spell on the staff by holding the spell button down and use it as a hammer

Fun fact: If you hold someone and have lightning spell equipped press the spell charge button to send lightning into their body

Awakentoast missed two parts with the gravity and lightning staffs. If you imbue the staff with gravity you can not just do a gravity shockwave but grab items, and, or weapons either items around the map or weapons from enemy’s. But, if you imbue it with lightning if you press the button to use the spells x or a it takes off their limbs.

I just found out I’ve been playing for about 20 minutes you can literally fly if you time it right just continue going up using the gravity spell I made it to world height without touching anything except the lowest part of the ground it’s insane that mechanic was so fun to learn you can literally flying that game now

Did you know that with a gravity staff you can now pick up objects and with a lighting staff you get a lighting arc that cuts anything

Funny enough when I saw that mountain the first thing I did was scale it by using the wrist blades while casting flame enchant and holding forward on the stick to stab-climb my way up.

Hey just fyi to cast fireballs with the staff you have to hold and then release the spell wheel button while swinging to staff, and for lightning you also hold the spell wheel button while swinging it, then for gravity you have to point it at an object then hold the spell wheel button to pick it up

With the staff you can push trigger on imbued so now with staff you’ll control objects better, lightning has a whip that dismembers body parts and fire is just fire balls

I’m pretty sure if you pull the fire apart it does a fire shockwave and if you put lightning on the staff and press the button that you would use for special ability it shoots like a sort of lightning blade out.

this update was such a huge leap in the right direction for blade and sorcery. Visuals are great, sorcery update is intense, and they added a full out cosmetic/clothing update in this too

my favorite thing I used to do without mods is get gravity spell in both hands and just go crazy on people flinging them and like when you make no gravity circle they go flying

You can use the spell button while holding the staff to use new abilities. For gravity it's "Gravity Hammer" For lightning it's "Lightning Arc" And finally the fire imbued staff has the OG fireballs

Yea the new update is freaking amazing! As for the recording settings I press f2 to activate the smooth camera. Then it’s all about adjusting those settings to whatever works for you 💪

I already fly around without the new grav spell. If you find a good piece of terrain where you can jump rapidly while not holding on to anything then you can jump infinitely and fly around way faster than this
