Great review Topher! Happy to let you drive the car! I haven’t used the drift reviewer cause I like having tread on my tires 😂 Small review after putting a couple thousand miles on it: I’ve fallen in love with this thing! The clutch for the first couple weeks took some getting used to, and 1st to 2nd for whatever reason can be annoying, but now I’m used to it and it’s no problem at all, it’s a lightish clutch but I actually found the weight to make it much easier to drive daily once you get the bite point down. When everything is turned down to efficient and comfort the car is absolutely drivable as a daily, I’ll respectfully disagree with you on the ride, I think it’s perfect. When you turn the suspension to sport plus..that’s too much for normal roads, I’d only use that on a track, sport is what you want for more spirited driving. I got this thing at the end of the fall so I only got to do one really good drive with it…..but it’s special. The handling dynamics are so on point, the manual adds to the experience, the auto is obviously faster, and the manual takes some getting used to, but once you learn it..I can’t imagine having it any other way. It is so sharp and controlled on turn in and gives you confidence at all times, personally I think BMW nailed it. Except it’s TOO QUIET! I’ll be doing a mid-pipe at some point to get some more volume. Cheers bud!
