In this video, I'll be explaining to you what ChatGPT Plus (Professional) is and how to sign up for the waitlist. So, what is ChatGPT Pro? It is a monetized version of ChatGPT - something you have to pay for. The President and Cofounder Greg Brockman tweeted that OpenAI is “Working on a professional version of ChatGPT". This pro version of ChatGPT will offer higher limits & faster performance. There is a demo of the early version of ChatGPT pro included in the video. At the end I talk about investments and reasonings for monetized versions of OpenAI's AIs like Dall-E and ChatGPT.

Also I remember when ChatGPT came out I wondered how I could invest in openAI. I can’t invest in OpenAI directly because it is a private company. I guess the answer to that question is to invest in Microsoft instead. 🚀

you should probably just use text-davinci-003 its pretty much just cut out chatgpt with gpt 3.0 instead of 3.5. to basically summarize it, its just a dumbed down version of chatgpt which is gpt 3.5 and text-davinci-003 is just $20 for around a million tokens 4 chars = 1 token so thats around 250,000 english words that are 4 letters long or just basically above 200,000 words per month. plus you can also set limits but thats all.

$42 a month is kind of overpriced but I consider it fair if they put less censorship on the responses and have chatGPT trained on up-to-date info for professional access.

Open source AI will be in colleges everywhere shortly I’m sure, just before replacing the need for college as a whole.

Access to knowledge doesn't make the ability to think obsolete, quite the opposite. Colleges teach you the basis in a specific domain to make you able to think independently and creative in a certain domain, so I think they will continue to exist for quite some time

@@davidebizzarri9460 have you ever been to college? They rarely teach you anything beyond what you can google in a couple hours. Most people in the computer science courses at my girl’s tech school literally google or copy paste answers, get a degree, and move on. It’s a joke, there better ways to learn and AI is one of them.

@@RobertLambertsonofficialYes, I have been to college...look at the researchers working at OpenAI, for example. They all have studied at university and they all have a PhD. AI is a great way to learn if you already know what you are looking for, and for that you need solid foundations. Take learning advanced math for example, there are hundreds of books out there, AI can change the way you access the information, but this doesn't change the substance. Do you know many people who were able to self study functional analysis or differential geometry after high school?

@@davidebizzarri9460 Yes, I learned chemistry and Pharmacology after high school self taught. I tried going to college for it, I was bored with how slow and behind the learning was. I would look at the most advanced class’ books and be stunned by how little people were really learning.

And it was possible already with books, but rare, because the issue was not being able to access information, but having a method and being able to process the information. In my opinion AI won't change this, it will be just another tool

I guess it depends how you use it, but it definitely is on the higher side right now. Keep in mind that this might not be the final price.

Open AI is only using like 5% of chatgpt's power.. and now the paid version is like only 10% of what it's capable of.. and imagine if it was able to surf the web..
