They share the same bolt, carrier, lower, and charging handle sled. don't expect that you can get all those. CZ specifically told me I can't get a spare bcg for my MS.

@@JohnZ556 There were some 556 conversions for a very short time, but they were 900 or 999, which made them prohibitively expensive vs just getting a used bren2ms of your choosing.

I still train with my Bren 805, it's a workhorse! My Bren 2 is my truck and carry weapon, in pistol configuration. I'm so ready to get both the 300 and 556 of the Bren 3!

Looks great. Big CZ fan here, but losing faith in CZ-USA. Not impressed with the lack of customer service and horrible parts availability these days. Also, your LE/MIL program used to be excellent and now it is completely gone. Not sure I will continue to give CZ my business in the future.

I'm just glad that they didn't cease production of their monolithic series of upper receivers. In fact, I want them to bring back the 901 and introduce a Colt Canada mrr18.6 equivalent to the US market

The bolt release/hold open in the trigger guard is a 100% no go. Looks like the handguards are the big improvement, not much else? Big miss is not being able to customize the grip with any of the million AR grips out there. Had a BREN 2 11" and it was a good gun after I dropped cash on a HB Industries handguard as the stock handguard was a complete fail with all those screws. The weapon always worked, but it was expensive, no parts support and not more accurate or reliable than a $1,000 AR-15/M-4. Sold it and don't regret it.

Imo the bren 2 is my end all be all. Thing runs like a chain gun. Only have a few complaints and HBI & HAGA fixed those with aftermarket parts.

@@michaelweeks7997good to hear. Just purchased the gen 2 a month ago and I was upset to hear they were releasing and gen 3 model that corrected some of the issues. Might have to get the 300 blk though and purchase a 5.56 barrel if that runs nice and sell my gen 2 to make up for some of the cost.

Good. It's an odd caliber to waste resources on when the AR15 style bolt head they use will continuously shear bolt lugs every 2500 rounds. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shooting 7.62x39 and I love AKs, but keep that caliber in rifles that were designed for it. The only AR-style rifle that shoots it decently is the CMMG mutant, because they designed it with an AR10 bolt head to handle the larger case head and not compromise bolt lug strength. They made the right move here.

Perhaps they could be produced for the American market at the Colt factory, which belongs to the same owner as CZ Group. If they were produced in the USA for the American market, it would improve the availability of weapons and parts on the market.

That's cool that it's FINALLY chambered in .300blk, but what the hell happened to importing the 7.62 Nato variant? Like anything CZ, whether it be customer service for parts or actually following through with releases, it's always radio silence.

Great. Hope our Air Force Tier One Unit continues the trend with the Bren 3 they started by procuring Bren 806 2. All other branches, including SOF army commandos and paratroopers/pathfinders, use the SCAR L complement by the H/HPR (except Navy and "regular" marines, still using the old frame HK G3, although many kitted with spuhr fited also with the same aimpoint comp m4 as the regular army with SCAR L), and our other 2 tier 1 units (army - "Rangers", navy - Special Actions Detachment) use some HK G-36 C/K/V versions, but mostly the HK 416A5, SCAR SC in limited numbers and they would be well served with the Bren 3. Cheers.

Been trying to get a Bren 2 carbine for 2 years and have been on every call list with all the local FFL's for when their distributors get one in stock and have never once found one. Given its impossible to get a bren 2 carbine, i would want a bren 3 but i feel that just having the chance of finding one will be totally impossible as it has been for the bren 2. CZ USA NEEDS to have them available to buy right from their website so i can buy and ship it directly to my FFL because i am not going to spend 100 hours on phone calls with ffl's and their distributors again to see if one is available. If CZ USA doesnt sell the bren 3 carbines on their site im going to disappointed and pissed.
